First Encounter with Frieza's Army

Future Trunks wore a look of intense focus. Watching Gohan's Super Saiyan 3 transformation, he finally understood completely why his father, Vegeta, was so furious.

The power Gohan currently possessed was enough to make Vegeta incredibly jealous!

"Gohan-kun, this is a date, right? That's great, I haven't been out in so long."

"Heehee, it's not bad to see the universe together!"

It was rare to have free time to spend with the two women, so taking a date into space wasn't out of the question.

Gohan smiled and started the spaceship. He glanced at Android 18, who was looking around with curiosity, and set the ship in motion.

As the ship slowly ascended, Bulma, still on the ground, waved and called out to Gohan.

"Gohan, remember, you must find the Super Dragon Balls! Also, my birthday party is in one week!"

"Remember to come back, don't forget!"

Gohan raised his hand to wave back, engaged the ship's engines, and shot into the sky, entering the depths of space.

The ship Bulma developed was excellent; its speed was remarkable, clearly exceeding the speed of light, so traveling through the universe wouldn't take long.

For instance, leaving the solar system was only a matter of ten minutes or so.

In the blink of an eye, they had left the solar system and were within the galaxy.

Videl, clearly visiting space for the first time, sat in his lap and looked out the window, full of excitement.

Gohan's eyes lit up, and he smiled, the corners of his mouth curling into a playful smirk.

"Oh, I didn't expect to run into the Frieza Force here. I remember Frieza is about to be resurrected."

"After that guy is revived, he should be working hard to become Golden Frieza!"

Just like that, a Frieza Force ship pulled up close to theirs, and a few figures stepped out.

They raised their hands, directly blocking his path.

"Stop right there! This is the territory of the Frieza Force. Where are you coming from? If you move any further, don't blame me for being impolite!"

Looking at the strange ship, the Frieza Force scout vessel carried five people, with a very peculiar pairing of an old man and a young woman.

The female alien was clearly dressed in Galactic Patrol attire.

Cheelai was a female thief who had stolen from the Galactic Patrol; chased by them, she had no choice but to join the Frieza Force.

As a force of destruction, the Frieza Force still held significant power within the universe.

This time, she had come to carry out a mission, plundering supplies from small planets while accompanied by Cheelai's partner, a veteran member of the Frieza Force.

Cheelai's partner was a low-level officer in the Frieza Force who had served for a long time, making him sensitive to certain things.

Upon discovering this spaceship, he immediately went to investigate, though he couldn't shake the feeling that the vessel was quite strange.

Especially the person piloting it; they dared to intrude into Frieza Force territory so boldly!

There had been no response until now, which was rather peculiar.

The other party actually recognized Frieza and even knew he had been resurrected.

This caused Cheelai's partner's expression to shift; he sensed something was wrong and wanted to stop his companions from continuing the dialogue, but it was clear his teammates were a bunch of idiots.

"Damn it, you dare to insult Lord Frieza? Open fire immediately!"

"Damn it, shoot that ship down! Anyone who dares to insult our Frieza is asking for death—blast his ship to pieces!"

Cheelai's partner couldn't stop them in time.

"Wait, don't do anything reckless, you fools! This guy knows about Saiyans; his identity must be extraordinary."

"Don't act rashly!"

Cheelai's partner wore an anxious expression, which caught the eye of Cheelai nearby. Curious, she stepped forward and asked softly.

"Cheelai's partner, what is a Saiyan? The Frieza Force seems terrified whenever that name is mentioned!"

Cheelai's partner offered a bitter smile, at a loss for how to answer, while the ship opened fire.

The shots struck the protective shield nearby, but unfortunately, they couldn't break the ship's barrier at all!

Bulma's protective shield had been designed based on Vegeta's strength; how could the firepower of a standard ship possibly penetrate it?

This attack clearly infuriated the person on the ship nearby.

Wearing a space suit, the individual stepped out of the cabin door. Once he stood atop the ship, his presence was overwhelming.

Suddenly, his accumulated energy exploded, making it seem as if a sun had appeared in the middle of the universe, completely illuminating the surrounding darkness.

Cheelai's mouth hung open, staring in disbelief at the person who had emerged, now radiating a dazzling golden light.

She was completely stunned.

"W-what is this? It looks so powerful! This guy's energy has lit up the entire universe!"

Cheelai's partner reacted instantly, his face turning pale as he cursed at the group of idiots still standing there in a daze.

"Retreat, quickly! This guy is a Super Saiyan, you fools! Why did you have to provoke him?"

"Even if Lord Frieza came himself, he would run! Get out of here!"

The idiots finally reacted. How could they have known this was the very Super Saiyan that Lord Frieza feared?

Lord Frieza had been killed by a Super Saiyan once before.

They stood no chance; terrified, they spun the ship around, desperate to escape.

But could they really get away?

Having provoked Gohan and startled Videl, Gohan had no intention of letting these people go.

Seeing the ship trying to flee, Gohan curled his lip and moved his entire body, even in the vacuum of space.

While his abilities couldn't be fully unleashed, with his special space suit, he still possessed 50% of his power.

Dealing with trash like this, 50% of his Super Saiyan 1 transformation was more than enough!

With a burst of energy and a sudden movement, he shot forward like a beam of light.

The next second, he landed directly on the Frieza scout ship. Gohan raised a hand, his fingers forming a claw, and grabbed the tail of the ship.

That was that; the ship pushed its engines to the limit, but it couldn't move forward an inch.

The entire vessel shook violently, and the guys inside were already howling in terror.

"H-he grabbed our ship with one hand! Who on earth is he? Is he really a Super Saiyan?"

"N-no, don't kill me! Lord Frieza, help!"

"I told you not to act recklessly, but you wouldn't listen! Now, even if Lord Frieza came, he couldn't save us!"

"So amazing! This guy is truly incredible, so powerful! Heehee, he's even stronger than Lord Frieza!"

Only Cheelai was excited, cheering with joy.

Cheelai's partner looked at her, speechless. She was actually admiring the guy even now, completely oblivious to the situation.
