Videl opened her mouth, only to find that fear had rendered her nearly voiceless; the gap in combat power between the two of them was simply too vast.
With Gohan's Ultra Instinct active, even without transforming, the mere proximity of his battle power would be enough to paralyze an ordinary person on the spot!
Staying any longer would likely leave her completely drained of strength; even now, Videl felt incredibly unwell.
Fortunately, within seconds, Gohan retracted his Ultra Instinct entirely, returning to that harmless, ordinary appearance.
He glanced over, his eyes filled with concern.
"Are you alright?"
Videl finally snapped back to reality. Seeing her injured leg, it was clear that Gohan's concern stemmed from her being hurt.
While she stood there stunned, Gohan had already scooped her up into his arms.
As he soared high into the sky, the realization hit her: Gohan had actually taken flight in an instant.
Her mouth hung open; only now did she understand that Gohan was the City Superhero!
His strength was even more formidable than she had imagined!
She was certain of it now, yet she dared not ask any further questions. Looking at Gohan's earnest expression, she felt a wave of sweetness wash over her heart.
After all, this was Gohan showing concern for her, though she couldn't fathom where he intended to go.
She couldn't help but speak softly, her previous aggressive demeanor entirely vanished, and asked cautiously, "Gohan, where... where are you taking me?"
Gohan inspected Videl's leg injury. Though it wasn't severe, he knew it would likely leave a scar if left untreated.
Thinking of something that could help Videl heal—and knowing he would need to stock up for the future—he knew he had to go get it.
"I'm going to get a Senzu Bean to heal your injury!"
Videl's expression turned curious, not understanding what he meant: "A Senzu Bean?"
Gohan nodded, explaining calmly: "Yes, they are kept at the base of Kami's Lookout, with Korin at Korin Tower."
"This stuff is amazing. A single bean can heal all injuries completely, and even half a bean is enough to restore one's energy and spirit!"
Videl had never heard of such a miraculous item, but as Gohan carried her through the air, she suddenly realized that there were many unknown things in this world—things even her father didn't understand!
Clinging to Gohan's arm, she sighed, "My dad always said that flying was just a magic trick. Now I know that flying isn't a trick at all."
"Gohan, I want to learn how to fly. You have to teach me later!"
She pouted at him; it was clear that Videl was determined to stick with him.
Gohan smiled faintly, unbothered, and said, "Sure. Learning the Flight Technique is actually quite simple, but I'll have to start by teaching you the basics of sensing ki."
"I'll teach you how to understand what ki is first!"
Videl nodded, her face beaming with joy and her eyes sparkling; she was always very serious about learning new skills.
Especially after feeling Gohan's speed—it was far faster than any airplane!
The moment they shot upward, they plunged directly into the clouds, causing her to gasp and hold onto Gohan for dear life.
She only noticed Gohan moving at incredible speeds, and before long, they arrived at Korin Tower. She hadn't expected to see a tower suspended in mid-air.
It piqued her curiosity immensely!
As soon as Gohan approached and landed, the Korin residing there—a cat hermit—raised his staff and immediately greeted Gohan.
"Hey Gohan, what brings you here? I didn't expect you to come visit me. By the way, did Goku go to the underworld?"
"I haven't seen him lately!"
Once Gohan landed and set Videl down, she noticed the talking Korin.
Her mouth fell open in surprise: "This cat can actually talk? Wow, how cute!"
She reached out to pet the fluffy Korin, which sent the hermit into a fit of rage.
"I am not a cat! Ah, stop that, you brat!"
"Gohan, the girlfriend you brought along is very ill-mannered!"
Korin composed himself and glared at Videl. Videl pulled her hand back, sticking out her tongue; she truly found this cat hermit amusing.
Gohan couldn't help but interject: "Korin, I'm not sure how many Senzu Beans you have left, but I've come to collect some!"
He couldn't let anyone eat them all!
Korin had already noticed Videl's injury and pulled some prepared beans from a jar nearby.
Without a second thought, he tossed them to Gohan.
"As it happens, I have two left. I see your girlfriend is injured, but it's a minor wound—half a bean will be enough!"
"Keep the remaining one and a half for later!"
Senzu Beans were incredibly rare; otherwise, if he had a whole pile of them, he could eat them like candy.
If that were the case, never mind Majin Buu—he could beat even a God of Destruction to a pulp with infinite stamina!
Holding the two beans, he took one first, split it in half, and fed it to Videl with his own hands.
Videl clearly felt the Senzu Bean take effect; the injury on her leg healed instantly. Where she had previously needed support to stand, she was now able to walk and jump about with ease.
She found it truly miraculous, her face lighting up with joy and excitement.
"Wow, is this a Senzu Bean? My injury is completely gone, and I feel like I was exhausted before, but now I'm bursting with energy!"
"Senzu Beans are amazing! Gohan, thank you so much!"
Fully recovered, Videl couldn't stop bouncing around. She never imagined such an incredible item could exist in the world.
If she told her father about something like this, he probably wouldn't even understand it.
Seeing that Videl was well, Gohan checked his remaining Senzu Beans; he had one and a half left, which would serve well for emergencies.
After stowing them away, he prepared to leave.
"Alright, I'll fly you home."
Videl nodded, not refusing in the slightest, and happily clung to Gohan.
The girl was rubbing against him, acting quite restless, which earned her a glare from Gohan, though Videl only responded with a sweet smile.
He couldn't tell if she was doing it on purpose.
Shaking his head, he had no choice but to take her home.
On the way, Videl insisted that she would come to him to learn the Flight Technique; even if he didn't agree, she was prepared to show up at his house anyway.
She was clearly determined to pester him until he gave in.
Gohan, unable to refuse, carried her through the air. About ten minutes later, they flew from Korin Tower to the mansion where Satan resided.
As they touched down, they were spotted by one of Satan's servants.
Noticing Videl being carried down from the sky, the servant's expression changed drastically, and he ran inside, shouting at the top of his lungs.
"Satan! Mr. Satan! Young Miss, the Young Miss has been brought back from the sky!"
"The Young Miss was brought back by a magic-user who can fly!"
As the servant rushed off to notify Satan, Gohan, not wanting to linger, prepared to take his leave.
Videl gave his arm a gentle tug. With a smile, she leaned in just as he was about to depart.
She kissed him on the cheek and left him with a meaningful remark: "Gohan, this is a gift for our first date."
"That was my first kiss!"
She blinked at him with a grin, leaving Gohan to touch his cheek, truly wanting to tell the girl that a first kiss wasn't supposed to be like that.
However, he sensed Satan approaching. His body tensed, and in a flash, he vanished like a streak of light, leaving Videl staring up at the sky, unable to process what had just happened.
It wasn't until Satan rushed up to her that she snapped back to reality.
"Videl, Videl, are you alright? What happened? I heard you were injured in the city. You—is your injury already healed?"
"Who brought you back? Someone who can fly brought you back? What on earth is going on?"
Satan, deeply concerned for his daughter, asked with a worried expression, to which Videl could only respond with a sigh.
"I'm fine, Dad. Alright, I'm going back to rest. Oh, and tomorrow, help me prepare a helicopter. I'm going to go visit a classmate!"
Watching his daughter walk away, Satan looked dejected. He looked up at the sky, but he couldn't make heads or tails of it.
Who had brought his daughter home? And why did she need a helicopter to see someone?
No matter how he thought about it, he couldn't understand.
Had his daughter really met someone who could fly?
"Impossible. Those tricksters who perform magic can't fool my daughter!"
Satan refused to believe it. He decided he would have to ask whether this classmate was a boy or a girl.
If it was a boy, he would have to be on his guard—his precious daughter couldn't be deceived by anyone!
Early the next morning, Chi-Chi rushed into his room, excited to share some news that woke Gohan right up.
"Gohan, Gohan! Outside, there's a very wealthy girl who arrived in a helicopter to see you."
"Wow, Mom is so happy you're dating such a beautiful girl!"
Chi-Chi was truly a snob; if Videl hadn't arrived in a helicopter, she probably would have chased her away.
But now, knowing Videl was a wealthy girl, she immediately woke Gohan up.
Gohan, just waking from his sleep, hadn't expected Videl to arrive so early. He had wanted to train, and he still hadn't used his Shadow Clone lottery draw.
Yawning, he made his way out of the room at a leisurely pace.
Videl, wearing her hair in two pigtails, spotted him instantly and happily ran up to greet him.
"Gohan, don't forget what you promised me yesterday. I asked my dad for a helicopter first thing this morning just to come find you."
"By the way, do you like my outfit today?"
She spun around to show off her little skirt, highlighting her cute and charming figure.
Gohan gave her an appreciative glance, but replied unhurriedly, "It's nice, but hold on a second, I haven't had breakfast yet."
Videl smiled and pulled out a bento box, "I brought some for you. I had the chef at home make it."
"I wasn't sure what you liked, so I had them make a little of everything!"
This girl was quite thoughtful, with a good temper and a lovely personality to boot.
Looking like a doting little girlfriend, she really made it hard for Gohan to refuse!
Under Videl's "enthusiastic gaze," he finished his breakfast and prepared to take her to train in the art of flight.
Goten had originally wanted to tag along, but Chi-Chi stopped him, forcing him to stay home so he wouldn't end up being a third wheel!
