The Sage of Six Paths had no desire to keep wasting words on Uchiha Qingfeng. It was better to eliminate a hidden danger like this sooner rather than later.

Uchiha Qingfeng had no intention of continuing the fight with the Sage of Six Paths either. Seeing the look on his face, he knew there would be no peaceful resolution. He decided to run first—run as far as he could and stall for as long as possible.

The golden radiance filling the sky turned into golden clouds, slowly revolving around the center.

A tornado-shaped beam of golden light slowly emerged from the heart of the clouds and swiftly moved above Uchiha Qingfeng's head. It seemed as though something was brewing within that golden vortex.

The Sage of Six Paths watched as the tornado in the sky locked onto Uchiha Qingfeng. Who knew what would happen next? Even Truth-Seeking Orbs could melt beneath that light. The Sage of Six Paths had no desire to test it with his physical body.

Since he did not know when it would strike, he had not dared to attack again.

Theoretically, if fate had abandoned him, it should have happened quickly. It should not have taken this long to build up and delay things. Most likely, it was gathering power to help him complete his transformation and cross the final threshold.
