No Choice but to Fight Back

As the torrent of golden lightning grew faster and faster, Uchiha Qingfeng's body could no longer be seen. Wrapped at the very center by lightning, he looked like a golden "cocoon."

Even with his Rinnegan pushed to its limit, the Sage of Six Paths could not see what was happening inside.

Could something unexpected be happening?

He could not help but worry. After all, all of this abnormality stemmed from Uchiha Qingfeng.

The lightning pool the Sage of Six Paths had created earlier had used liquid lightning to scour its target. Even Uchiha Madara had been unable to withstand it, his body left battered and ruined. Yet not all the lightning pool's energy had been inflicted upon Uchiha Madara. Though he had been the target, part of it had still struck the ground, blasting a huge crater into the earth.

But Uchiha Qingfeng was different. The golden radiance could melt away Truth-Seeking Orbs, yet after turning into a torrent of lightning, it did not actively damage the ground. It merely wrapped around itself layer by layer, with Uchiha Qingfeng at the very center.

The golden glow in the sky vanished completely, all of it transforming into golden lightning that descended upon Uchiha Qingfeng. A massive "cocoon" stood on the ground, at least half as tall as a Complete Body Susanoo.

Bathed in that golden light, even the Rinne Sharingan reflected upon the moon dimmed.

Everything around them became solemn and still. The only sounds were the crackling of lightning and a noise like flowing water.

The Sage of Six Paths was now completely certain that the lightning inside that Lightning Cocoon had become liquid. Yet Uchiha Qingfeng definitely was not dead, because he had caused all of this himself.
