Qingfeng faced Obito’s attempts to capture him, mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique, and left Leaf Village to pursue bounties. After killing Hasegawa and choosing Taizan as his first official target, he met Jiriku at a campfire and worried that the Temple of Fire might come after him.

• Qingfeng sparred with Inuzuka Gakku, used the Eight Inner Gates Formation, and earned Gakku’s respect.
• Obito confronted Qingfeng about joining his plan, but Qingfeng escaped repeated Kamui attacks and mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique while rescuing Elephant.
• Qingfeng stayed on guard as Obito watched his friends and followed his daily routine, then decided to leave Leaf Village to earn money.
• Qingfeng used a Flying Thunder God Mark to leave the village, changed into an Akatsuki robe, and entered a hidden Bounty Exchange.
• Qingfeng killed Hasegawa, whose bounty was one million Ryo, and chose Taizan as his first official target.
• Qingfeng met Jiriku while camping, convinced him to eat a rabbit, and worried that the Temple of Fire might pursue him.

Qingfeng helped Jiriku defeat Chumei, then returned to Konoha and pursued early graduation while juggling his Shadow Clones and new relationships. His visit to Orochimaru’s laboratory ended in a negotiated exchange of Secret Soldier Pills, Sage Cells, and promised money.

• Qingfeng and Jiriku defeated Taizan, Nora Ge, and the other bandits, then Jiriku killed Chumei with Wrathful Mingwang while Qingfeng claimed Chumei’s head for the bounty.
• Qingfeng collected the bounties under the title Veterinarian, and he and Jiriku parted after Qingfeng gave him a storage scroll and warned him to keep their encounter secret.
• Qingfeng encountered Kakuzu, convinced him that he was a powerful Akatsuki member, and sent him away before returning toward Leaf Village.
• Qingfeng returned to Konoha, reunited with Anko, Uzuki Yugao, and Inuzuka Hana, and attended the Ninja Academy while concealing his Shadow Clone activities.
• Qingfeng and Itachi applied for early graduation, and Qingfeng copied their assigned textbooks before Orochimaru visited him at the Pharmacy.
• Orochimaru took Qingfeng to his hidden laboratory, offered him Jugo’s and Hashirama Senju’s cells, and attacked him after Qingfeng refused to give up the mysterious potion.
• Qingfeng escaped Orochimaru’s snake attacks and asked him to develop medicine that could make a couple’s first child a girl, prompting Orochimaru to begin the research.
• Qingfeng and Orochimaru agreed to exchange Secret Soldier Pills for Sage Cells and fifty million ryo, and Orochimaru gave Qingfeng a bottle of living cells with a warning not to open it.

Qingfeng spent heavily on the System, graduated at the top of his class, and joined Itachi and Yamato under Minato’s leadership. As the team began training and taking missions, Danzō plotted against Qingfeng and Itachi while Orochimaru secretly resolved to protect Qingfeng.

• Qingfeng recharged sixty million taels, received mostly empty lottery rewards, and finally drew supplies of his regular potions and Shining World Instruments.
• Qingfeng and Itachi completed their graduation exams, and Qingfeng defeated Itachi in their demonstration match while revealing his Three-Tomoe Sharingan.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi assigned Yamato as the Uchiha students’ teammate, and Minato Namikaze became their squad leader after Orochimaru offered to train them.
• Qingfeng forced Yamato to cooperate during Minato’s timed test, then passed the test with Itachi and Yamato.
• Minato taught Qingfeng the principles of Rasengan, and Qingfeng unexpectedly created a Great Ball Rasengan powerful enough to destroy a tree and blast a crater into the ground.
• Yamato reported Qingfeng’s strength to Danzō, who planned to target Qingfeng and Itachi outside the village and use Kano to provoke a Uchiha coup, while Orochimaru secretly decided to keep Qingfeng alive.
• Minato refused Qingfeng’s request to take a B-rank escort mission before completing fifty lower-rank missions, and Qingfeng planned to use Shadow Clones to handle the work while he trained.

Qingfeng pursued Sage Mode training, then joined Kakashi, Itachi, and Yamato on a bandit-clearing mission that Danzō turned into an ambush against the Uchiha. Kakashi fought Danzō’s Root agents while Obito intervened, leaving Kakashi alive as Obito headed toward the burning mountain.

• Qingfeng signed the summoning contract and visited Mount Myōboku, where the Great Toad Sage said Qingfeng had blurred the future before Qingfeng returned to Konoha without beginning Sage Mode training.
• Danzō and Orochimaru plotted to kill Qingfeng and Itachi, while Hiruzen assigned Kakashi’s team a mission to eliminate bandits near the Temple of Fire and kept Minato in the village.
• Qingfeng met Jiriku, learned he was joining the Daimyo’s Guard, and accompanied him before seeing him off with Asuma and Kurenai.
• Kakashi led Qingfeng, Itachi, and Yamato toward the Temple of Fire as Danzō assembled Orochimaru’s failed test subjects and planned to target the two Uchiha genin.
• Yamato and Itachi attacked the bandits, and Qingfeng’s Great Fire Annihilation engulfed the mountaintop before the three fought the bandits and Qingfeng struck their leader Matsudaira with a Great Ball Rasengan.
• Danzō’s Root agents Fuu Yamanaka and Torune Aburame attacked Kakashi, who fought them alone while Pakkun went to report the ambush.
• Torune’s poisonous insects overwhelmed Kakashi, and Obito Uchiha pulled Fuu into Kamui Space, protected Kakashi, and then headed toward the firelight on the mountain.
