Song Chen reached out and lightly traced a line through the air three feet in front of him. A fist-sized wormhole opened without a sound.
He slipped a finger inside, and it immediately appeared beside a table several meters away.
He withdrew his hand, and the wormhole closed with it. He smiled in satisfaction. This already qualified as artificially opening a spacetime wormhole.

Now, unless someone at the Tenth Rank personally intervened, practically no one could kill him.
He quickly brought up the star map again. "Keep going. Next planet."
