The other end of the comm suddenly went silent. A few seconds later, the voice turned much colder. "You're not? Then who are you? Who gave you permission to use our people's name?"

Song Chen smiled faintly. He had known this day would come sooner or later.

As long as anyone from the Radiant Dawn Civilization remained alive, they were bound to follow those rumors. He simply hadn't expected it to happen so quickly, much less for them to contact him directly.

"I'm here to kill the Blood-Eclipse Clan. I don't care about your names. If you don't like it, you can file a complaint against me."

The voice on the other end gritted out, "Do you know how many people you'll get killed by using our name? The Blood-Eclipse Clan will hold us responsible for all of this."

"If you have nothing to hide, you should give your own name. Why drag us into this?"

"Because you're useful."

"Because you still have a name. But what have you been doing all these years? You're the ones who lost that name. Now someone has picked it up for you, and you come demanding answers."

"Does your Radiant Dawn Civilization only know how to berate its own people?"

The person on the other end took several ragged breaths, clearly furious. "You've gone too far."

"I'm not finished." Song Chen's voice turned cold as well.

"Every time I take down a station, people below shout that the Radiant Dawn Civilization has returned."

"Those cries are meant more for you than for me."

With that, he hung up without waiting for a reply.

The ship fell quiet. Shelly stood beside him, silently facing him.

Song Chen closed the comm panel and brought up the star chart again. "Come on. Next planet."
