Infinity Guardian

"Redemption?" Thanos suddenly grew interested upon hearing that. He asked curiously, "Why do you seek redemption?"

The cloaked figure said in a deep voice, "I once searched for the Infinity Stones just as you do, seeking to obtain their supreme power. I had a grand plan. For that plan, I paid a terrible price and committed many wrongs. There was one thing, in particular, that I regretted beyond measure. That is why I am here, atoning for my past..."

"Forget it. I don't want to hear your story." For some reason, the person's voice irritated Thanos. He could not shake the feeling that it sounded familiar.

"Who exactly are you? Why do I feel like I've seen you somewhere before?" Thanos asked coldly.

The cloaked figure's face remained hidden in shadow, impossible to make out. "I am merely a guardian of the Infinity Stones. You may call me the Infinity Guardian."

"Infinity Guardian..." Thanos said. "I've heard enough from you. Now tell me, where is the Soul Stone?"

"You must understand that the Soul Stone is the most unique of all the Infinity Stones. To obtain it, you must pay a price—a very terrible price," the Infinity Guardian said gravely.

"I'm prepared," Thanos said with a serious expression.
