After bidding farewell to McCree, William boarded another plane and headed for his next destination. Sombra had told him that Soldier: 76 was in Numbani.

But she had not told William exactly where Morrison was in Numbani. It seemed he would have to find him himself.

After getting off the plane, he entered the airport terminal. Before him was a bustling crowd, with humans from all over the world and omnics of all kinds of shapes and designs. Such a sight was simply unimaginable anywhere else.

William looked up and saw a massive billboard overhead:

The billboard also showed a human dancing with a female omnic, with the silhouette of Numbani behind them.

Numbani, bordering Nigeria, was a utopia on the African savanna. It was one of the most peaceful cities in the world, as well as a premier center for scientific discovery and exploration.

In Swahili, it meant "home."

It was not only a home for humans, but also a home for omnics.

After the Omnic Crisis ended, the conflict between humans and omnics had only grown sharper. Russia had already suffered a second Omnic Crisis, while the situation at King's Row had become increasingly dangerous. Present-day Numbani was one of the few places in the Overwatch world where humans and omnics lived as equals.

During the Omnic Crisis, this legendary woman had served as Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations. She had played a tremendous role in the founding of Overwatch.
