A Note After the Ending

The story of Overwatch invading Marvel came to a complete end here.

From the moment the male lead was transported to the Marvel world because of a cup of lemon tea, this story had accompanied me for about two years.

I had always been a Marvel fan. I actually watched Marvel works quite early on, and Avengers was what truly pulled me into the fandom.

From then on, I began reading the major events in Marvel comics and watching the movies in chronological order... until I finally became one of Marvel's die-hard fans.

When I learned about the game Overwatch, I immediately had the idea of bringing those two elements together, and this book was born.

There were many Marvel fanfiction webnovels, but very few Overwatch fanfictions.

Because of that, this book performed very well at the beginning and reached premium status in about a month. But its later performance declined sharply. I admit that this was my first time writing a bestseller, and I made many mistakes, but this book was never abandoned and ultimately received a perfect ending.

This book began with Athena and ended with Athena. The opening of the first chapter and the ending of the final chapter were actually both Athena's voice, so it came full circle.

Some people might say, wasn't there still a boss called Iris in the Overwatch world?

First of all, the Cthulhu elements in Overwatch were real, but we did not know exactly what Iris was. Maybe even the writers themselves had not figured it out yet.

So, in order to avoid being contradicted by the official canon, our story ended with the final battle. As for what happened next in the Overwatch world, everyone was free to imagine it—what would happen if William led the Avengers into the Overwatch
