Tang San's mouth twitched slightly, and he hurriedly cast those messy thoughts out of his mind.

"It's nothing, it's nothing."

He shook his head, forcing a smile as he explained, "God Realm affairs have been a bit complicated lately. I'm just a little tired; I'll be fine after resting for a while."

As he spoke, he quickly added, "Xiao Wu, you don't need to worry about me. I'm fine."

"Right, well, there are still some matters at the God Realm Committee that need to be handled. I'll head over there to get busy now."

Before the words had even faded, a flash of blue divine light streaked by, and Tang San's figure vanished from the Sea God Temple.

The Snow Empress frowned as she looked at the pool. "Could it really be beneath this cold pool?"

After entering the pool, thanks to the Snow Empress's protective measures, the cold was present but not bone-chilling.

The true nature of the pool was finally revealed to him.

On the surface, it looked like a small pond, but inside, it was a different world entirely. It was less of a pool and more of a passageway.

This passage extended downward, filled with freezing ice water, and looking down, it seemed bottomless.

Traveling through this spatial tunnel felt strangely similar to traversing through time and space.

As time passed, the depth increased, and while the temperature dropped and the water pressure rose, the bottom of the pool remained unseen, stretching on without end.

Xu Tianyao gradually began to feel physical discomfort. He looked at the Snow Empress beside him and couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration seeing her expression remain unchanged.

As long as the Snow Empress was there, he would be safe, but the intensifying pressure and plummeting temperatures were ultimately too much for his seven-year-old body to endure.

The murmur was intermittent and unclear; Xu Tianyao could only remember that one vague sentence.
