When he slowly opened his eyes, he felt as if he'd had the most comfortable sleep ever. He reached for the phone beside his bed, then sprang up in an instant. Oh my God, where's my phone? He looked around.
Everywhere he looked, there were crumbling ruins, dilapidated buildings, shattered mountaintops, and corpses scattered among the wreckage.
Where was this place?
And what was all this around him? He looked at his hands. They were covered in bright red blood, which seemed to have dried long ago.
He had woken up lying on a pile of rubble. Red rain was falling from the sky, and the raindrops striking his cheek had slowly brought him around.
Oh my God, what is this on my hands? And where am I? He was utterly bewildered.
He scrambled to his feet, trying to find something familiar. Suddenly, he spotted a faint figure in the distance. Clinging to a glimmer of hope, he ran toward it.
As he drew closer, he saw a girl dressed in strange clothes. She watched him warily. Before he could ask anything, she drew her weapon and pointed it at him. "Why did you hurt us? Why did you destroy us? Who are you, anyway?" This time, it was Goku Black's turn to fall silent. I don't even know who I am. Then fragments of memories suddenly surfaced in Goku Black's mind, leaving him stunned.
Did I get transported to another world?
And not just anywhere, but into Dragon Ball?
My favorite anime from childhood?
And, worst of all, I'm Goku Black now?
What is with this day?
A string of questions surfaced in his mind. He looked at his hands and the dried blood, and finally understood.
When the little girl beside him saw that he wasn't reacting, she stabbed at him. Goku Black didn't react in time and took the blow, but the blade only grazed him, leaving a small cut. Then Goku Black came to, and it was as if he had become someone else.
Everything before him turned dark~
Since I'm Goku Black now, I'll go by Goku Black!
After sorting out what had happened, he glanced at the ruined buildings around him, and then it all came back to him.
This was the Androids' era. It seemed the method his body had used to travel through time had worked.
Earlier~
Another universe.
Zamasu had obtained Son Goku's body. After putting it to the test, he felt that something was still missing. Then he discovered a startling secret: the Androids. (By then, the Androids had already been destroyed by another Zamasu.) There were two Zamasus, and one of them didn't know about the other. Only after they talked did they uncover this secret. Son Goku's body still seemed to be lacking something. Could he travel back to an earlier point in time and find the method for creating the Androids before anyone else? (The research had been destroyed by Son Goku and his friends.) He could study the body and see whether he could make it even stronger. After all, when the other Zamasu fought the two Androids, they both had unlimited power. The battle only ended when Zamasu used his ultimate move.
So, after discussing it, the two Zamasus decided to use the Time Ring in their possession. They danced and fused into one, then set off through time~
As they traveled through time, the magnetic field around them kept shifting. They suffered severe injuries inside the time tunnel and eventually passed out.
When they woke up, they were here!
It seemed fusing had been the more reliable choice after all. Time travel required a powerful body, strong spirit and soul, and the essential ring—none of which could be missing.
It seemed he would have to rewrite history in this timeline too. (Son Goku, Androids), this time you won't get away! Heh heh! Goku Black's power had an evil aura, as did Zamasu's dark, malevolent energy. They had only taken over a body when they traveled here; their auras couldn't be blocked. Sometimes, they still had a little influence.
Goku Black looked at the little girl before him, then pulled her toward him. "Why did you stab me?"
His gaze turned severe, his eyes reddened, and his clenched fist turned a reddish gray. The young girl was instantly driven into the rubble before her, then disappeared from sight.
Goku Black looked at the blood on his hands and remembered the blow he had just struck. His fist had smashed the girl until she was a bloody mess, out of sight.
Then he looked up at the red rain falling from the sky and flew upward~
Meanwhile,
The two Androids were wreaking havoc. Smoke had turned the city sky gray, and alarms wailed without pause. People fled in every direction through the streets, their screams and cries blending together.
Android 17 hovered in the air, his expression cold. With a casual wave of his hands, he sent several beams of energy streaking toward the high-rises along the street. Wherever they struck, windows shattered instantly and walls exploded. Chunks of concrete flew in every direction amid clouds of dust. Huge cracks spread across the buildings, exposing their interiors as they teetered on the verge of collapse.
Android 18 strolled down the street. Wherever she went, she kicked cars aside as if they were toys, sending them crashing into nearby shops and setting off bursts of flame and explosions. She casually snapped off streetlights and swung them like weapons, smashing a bus stop. The waiting passengers scattered in panic. Some fell and were trampled by the surging crowd.
Cars packed with passengers raced frantically down the roads, but Android 17 locked on to them from the air. His energy blasts struck with pinpoint accuracy, and the cars exploded in an instant, flames shooting into the sky. Wreckage and severed limbs scattered everywhere as blood spread across the ground and the acrid smell of burning filled the air.
The buildings around them gradually collapsed beneath the rampage of the two demonic Androids. The once-prosperous streets became a wasteland, and an air of death and despair hung over the ruins. They showed no sign of stopping, continuing deeper into the city, intent on destroying everything.
As the Androids' destruction spread, a large shopping mall in the city center was reduced to rubble. Broken signs, twisted metal frames, and scattered merchandise burned amid the wreckage. The nearby park was no better off: trees had been uprooted, the lake filled in with earth, and the children's playground smashed to pieces.
Android 17 turned his attention to a hospital that was evacuating people. He fired a barrage of energy spheres at its various floors, causing the hospital ward to tilt and collapse. The cries of patients and medical staff inside were drowned out by the explosions. Nearby, Android 18 mocked the police officers who tried to fight back. She easily dodged their bullets, then used her tremendous strength to flip the police cars one by one, blocking the rescue workers' route.
Flames raged through the city, and thick smoke billowed into the sky, forming a vast black cloud that shrouded the entire city in darkness and fear. The survivors huddled in corners, watching helplessly as their homes were mercilessly destroyed, their hearts full of helplessness and despair. Yet the Androids continued their destructive spree amid the ruins, as if bent on erasing every trace of human civilization.
