"This is the first time I've learned that there's a god on Earth."
"Just Earth's Kami. It's nothing special."
After spending thirty years alongside Gods of Destruction and angels, Wang Shen sounded rather dismissive.
If he wanted to, he could become Earth's Kami himself.

"The most important thing Earth's Kami does is make sure the Dragon Balls remain."
"You mean those Dragon Balls that are said to grant any wish?"
Lazuli asked at once, curiosity and a curious glint in her eyes.

"That's right. If you gather all seven Dragon Balls, you can summon their creator and make three wishes."

Lazuli was surprised.

"Is there a wish you'd like to make?"
At that, Lazuli lowered her eyes and bowed her head. She hesitated for a long while, not answering him right away.

That's right.
Cell had abandoned his plan to absorb Android 17 and Android 18 and evolve into his Perfect Form.
Because he couldn't do it.
He was too weak right now!
The existence of that unfamiliar Saiyan made him afraid to go near Android 17 and Android 18.
So, with no other choice, he had returned to the laboratory where he'd been born.
There, he found the research notes Dr. Gero had sealed away.

In the movie, Android 13 became Super 13 after absorbing the power cores and computer chips of Android 14 and Android 15.
