Fighting Cell

Seeing Cell's shocked expression, Wang Shen gave him a wicked smile.

"If that's all you've got, then you'll be joining Piccolo in the grave today. Perfect Form won't save you, either."

Cell's heart pounded, and his eye twitched.

His near-full-power punch had landed in Wang Shen's palm and vanished like a stone sinking into the sea, accomplishing nothing.

Wang Shen gripped Cell's fist tightly, keeping him from breaking free.

He wanted to see whether Cell would sacrifice his arm to escape.

Wang Shen was just about to taunt him and get under his skin when his eyes suddenly widened.

Cell had formed a Ki Blast in his other hand!

Wang Shen reached out with his own free hand, blocking Cell before he could detonate it at point-blank range.

The Ki Blast wavered between their palms, unable to explode.

For a moment, the two were locked in a stalemate, straining against each other.

The ground beneath their feet began to cave in, cracks spreading outward in a web as it buckled under their strength.

Bang!

At last, the ground gave way and collapsed completely.

Wang Shen used the momentum to shoot into the sky.

Cell followed close behind, firing Ki Blasts at him nonstop. Wang Shen dodged from time to time.

From the ground, it looked as though Wang Shen was fleeing while Cell gave chase.

After dodging one Ki Blast after another, Wang Shen glanced down.

In the middle of this so-called chase, Cell had actually grown excited, unleashing Ki Blasts from his hands without pause.

Wang Shen let out an exasperated, mocking laugh.

Cell in Super Saiyan 2 was indeed someone Wang Shen had to take seriously at Full Power.

But that was no reason for Cell to get so cocky.

It seemed his tail had grown back, and he'd forgotten how much it had hurt last time.

Wang Shen pressed two fingers to his forehead. The next instant, he vanished from Cell's sight.

"Hm! Instant Transmission!"

Cell stopped warily, bracing for Wang Shen's ambush.

Whoosh!

Wang Shen appeared abruptly behind Cell and kicked at his head.

But Cell had anticipated the attack. He swiftly raised an arm and barely managed to block Wang Shen's kick.

Wang Shen raised an eyebrow.

Since his debut, this was the first time one of his attacks had failed.

Seeing Wang Shen's surprise, Cell gave him a mocking grin, but he quietly tucked his arm behind his back, unable to stop it from trembling.

However.

There was no way Cell's little trick could escape Wang Shen's notice.

"Nice block!"

Wang Shen said sarcastically.

"Don't get cocky! I've already figured out your moves!"

Cell gritted his teeth.

Green light blazed from Cell's eyes, and golden flames, much like a Super Saiyan's, erupted around him with overwhelming force.

"Once I kill you, Android 17 and Android 18 will be mine. Then no one in this world will be able to stop me—not in any timeline!"

Wang Shen smiled faintly.

Kid, you're still too young.

You don't know that there's always someone stronger—and gods beyond that!

Pfft!

With Cell unleashing his full power, Wang Shen had no choice but to take him seriously.

Golden flames erupted around Wang Shen as well, surging higher and burning a deeper shade.

His eyes were as cold as lightning. An oppressive force rose from him, and rolling waves of energy battered Cell's "puny" aura.

The clouds for miles around were swept away by Wang Shen, leaving the sky clear in an instant.

"Since you want so badly to beat me, I'll give you the chance!"

"I'll fight you using only my Full Power form. Make the most of your one and only opportunity."

Wang Shen's gaze was sharp, his golden hair whipping wildly as he stood between heaven and earth, stirring up a storm!

Feeling Wang Shen's terrifying power at such close range, Cell's heart quivered. He clenched both fists.

He remembered how, just a few days ago, when he was still weak, he had watched Wang Shen from afar, holding himself back and not daring to reveal even a trace of his energy.

Cell gritted his teeth and snarled:

"Quit putting on a show! If you want to fight, then fight!"

With that, Cell rushed straight at Wang Shen, and the two launched into close-quarters combat!

Wang Shen charged with a fist, and the two collided.

Cell attacked with frenzied intensity, using every part of his body to strike at Wang Shen.

Wang Shen said nothing, calmly meeting his attacks. Every punch and kick rang out like thunder.

That showed just how powerful their blows were!

Bang!

The shock waves from their fight swept in every direction, as though heaven and earth themselves were trembling.

A glint flashed in Wang Shen's eyes. He threw a fierce punch, wrapped in golden flames, straight into Cell's stomach.

Cell's assault was interrupted. Wang Shen kicked him flying.

Then Wang Shen blurred forward, catching up in an instant and raining a flurry of vicious blows down on Cell before he could react.

Cell's body caved in rapidly, one fist mark and footprint after another appearing across him.

Cell howled in agony.

Wang Shen brought down one final high kick, and Cell plummeted like a meteor, crashing into the ground and leaving a deep, human-shaped crater!

High above, Wang Shen's expression was indifferent. He extended a hand and formed an energy sphere, then fired it.

A mountain collapsed, burying the crater completely.

Dust billowed as boulders tumbled down.

A thick blue beam suddenly burst from where Cell had been buried.

Kamehameha!

The blast of energy swept away every obstacle in its path and shot toward the sky.

"Full Power Destruction Beam!"

Wang Shen gathered energy in both hands and unleashed a blazing beam. Its scorching heat warped even the space around it.

Boom!

The massive force released when the two powerful energies collided exploded outward, reducing everything nearby to dust!

The energy dissipated!

Cell shot into the sky, a charged punch trailing a sonic boom as flames swirled around it.

Wang Shen hurriedly threw up a fist to meet it. His body shook, and another tremendous force struck him. He let himself be knocked backward, putting distance between them.

Cell grinned savagely and fired several Ki Blasts in the blink of an eye.

Wang Shen remained composed. Holding his hand like a blade, he sent out several slashes of light and spotted Cell charging toward him.

Wang Shen flashed away, appearing behind Cell, and was about to attack when Cell vanished too.

Wang Shen's thoughts shifted, and he disappeared again.

The two suddenly appeared in another direction. After exchanging a punch, they vanished once more.

They began competing in speed.

Cell shifted from place to place, and Wang Shen followed with his own flashes. Their figures appeared and disappeared, shock waves from their clashes forming out of thin air.

Cell flashed toward the distance. Before long, both of them appeared above a city.

They exchanged another blow, and the shock wave spread, slicing through the city's skyscrapers.

People began screaming in terror and scattering in every direction.

Cell smiled coldly and sped down toward the city, paying no heed to Wang Shen chasing him from behind.

Cell's tail writhed. The severed appendage had grown back, extending rapidly until it was more than ten meters long. It lashed toward a woman below, who stood frozen in terror, too scared to move.

He had deliberately lured Wang Shen to this city.

His battle with Wang Shen had reached a stalemate. He needed to absorb energy!

"Don't even think about it!"

A ball of golden light gathered in Wang Shen's hand and transformed into a Golden Ki Sword.

Wang Shen swung his arm, and the blade instantly expanded into a Light Sword dozens of meters long, slicing Cell in half at the waist!

"Aaah! Wang Shen!"

A piercing pain flooded Cell's mind. Only his upper body remained hovering in the air as green blood poured down like a waterfall.

The agony of being dismembered contorted Cell's face, and his pupils shrank.

His clenched teeth made it clear that he wanted nothing more than to tear Wang Shen limb from limb.

Wang Shen held his arm out straight, the Light Sword pointed at Cell's face. He paid no attention to the carnage around them.

"You brought this on yourself!"

Pfft!

Rage surged through Cell, and he spat out a large mouthful of blood. Bloodshot veins spread across his eyes.

"You deserve to die! Die!"

Wang Shen gave a cold laugh and was about to say something when he looked up into the distance.

Two figures wreathed in golden light were flying toward them, trailing long arcs behind them.

Vegeta, Trunks!

Wang Shen murmured softly, casting a knowing glance at Cell, who was quietly regenerating.
