Three days passed in the blink of an eye.
With the energy reserves required for a Super Saiyan, Wang Shen spent those short three days tasting all the delicacies West City had to offer.
This included, but was not limited to, grand hotels, restaurants, eateries, and all sorts of snacks and treats.
"The research Earthlings have put into gourmet food is truly in a league of its own in the universe!"
"No wonder Champa, whose Universe 6 lacks an Earth, is forced to miserably eat Baba Bird eggs that taste like plain boiled eggs, yet treats them like precious treasures."
The fourth day.
Wang Shen saw a dangerous incident reported on the news.
The entire population of a city had vanished, leaving behind nothing but a mess of clothes scattered across the ground.
Wang Shen knew.
Cell, having arrived from the future, had made his appearance.
He could naturally use the Mind Sense Technique to detect Cell's location and wipe him out in one fell swoop.
But why would he do that?
Besides, the Earthlings who lived such comfortable lives were the ones dying; he felt no heartache.
Thus, Wang Shen purchased a large quantity of daily supplies and a Hoi-Poi Capsule containing two villas.
He prepared to set off for the archipelago in the eastern seas of Earth, intending to select a small island where he could settle down.
Just like Kame House.
Quiet, comfortable, sunshine, sea breeze...
"Let's go! Time to move into the new house!"
Located in the busiest square of West City, Wang Shen shot straight into the sky, transforming into a streak of light that rapidly sped away.
This left the beautiful women who had intended to strike up a conversation with him gasping in surprise.
What a pity, they thought, I didn't make a move fast enough; that blond guy actually got away.
With the speed of Super Saiyan Full Power, Wang Shen soon crossed half the continent.
He arrived at the location of the eastern archipelago.
Unlike the bright sunshine of West City, this region of the eastern islands was experiencing rain.
Droplets of rain fell, yet not a single one could truly land on Wang Shen.
They were all blocked by an aura defense shield three feet from his body.
This was an automatic defense Wang Shen had cultivated.
As long as his internal energy was sufficient, it would remain spread around his body, guarding against any sudden attacks.
However, he had voluntarily retracted it during his previous battle with Vegeta.
Because against Vegeta, such a defense was meaningless.
"What terrible weather; I don't like the rain."
In Wang Shen's view.
Rain represented oppression, trouble, and cold.
The rain grew heavier, gradually evolving into a downpour.
Wang Shen looked up, staring at the massive dark clouds above, and continued to ascend, breaking through the sky to reach above the cloud layer.
The previously gray and cold world instantly became bright, warm, and sunny.
Wang Shen smiled, spread his arms, and wantonly enjoyed the radiance of the sun.
Immediately after, he fired a shockwave from his hand that completely scattered the thick, heavy clouds, the energy explosion directly evaporating the moisture within them.
The world was completely restored to light.
"Hmm!?"
Below the clouds, a figure clad in a blue combat suit stood atop a mountain peak, letting the rain soak his entire body.
As the rain dissipated, he also noticed the presence of that shockwave.
"This is... Karotis's aura."
Vegeta muttered to himself.
He looked up, his gaze piercing through the cover of the clouds to see a familiar figure.
"Vegeta!"
Wang Shen naturally discovered Vegeta's presence as well.
"So, you're here!"
Wang Shen's voice came from beside Vegeta.
Wang Shen knew that in the original story, after being brutally beaten by Android 18, Vegeta had found a place all by himself to "lick his wounds" and contemplate life.
Yet he never expected to be here.
And to have run into him by chance.
"Are you here to mock me, Karotis?"
Vegeta demanded in a low, stern voice.
He had been defeated by him before, and now he dared to appear before him again.
"Don't be like that, Vegeta. We're friends, after all."
Wang Shen said with a smile.
He stepped forward to pat Vegeta on the shoulder, but was dodged.
Wang Shen had no choice but to continue explaining:
"Actually, I'm looking for a home."
"A home?"
"That's right. I plan to pick one of these islands to be my home. You should come visit often, Vegeta."
Unlike Vegeta's cold expression, Wang Shen remained all smiles.
"Hmph, in your dreams!"
Vegeta flatly rejected Wang Shen's invitation.
"What about those three androids? Why aren't they by your side?"
Vegeta was still brooding over the androids, hoping to fight them again to regain some face.
"Oh, I let them go."
"They are actually good people, Vegeta. They aren't the evil, wicked androids Trunks described."
Wang Shen patiently explained to Vegeta.
He hoped he could let go of his obsession with the androids.
Otherwise, he feared he might have to beat Vegeta up again.
"They were originally human, captured by Dr. Gero and subjected to cruel experiments, forced to become androids under his control."
"They never killed anyone on their own initiative, even though you, Piccolo, and Trunks wanted to destroy them at the time."
"I believe they are kind."
Vegeta responded better to reason than force.
With Wang Shen appealing to his emotions and logic, Vegeta finally softened slightly.
Wang Shen smiled and continued:
"Besides, they possess infinite energy; their stamina and power will never run dry."
"Even you, Vegeta, are no match for them."
"Impossible! I am a Super Saiyan!"
Vegeta reacted violently, glaring at Wang Shen.
"Karotis, don't you dare look down on me."
"Even if you are stronger than me now, I, the Prince of Saiyans, will definitely surpass you."
Vegeta raised his sandbag-sized fist to threaten Wang Shen.
It seemed comical, but Wang Shen actually sensed that Vegeta's energy was a sliver stronger than it had been during their fight a few days ago.
But it was too slow.
And even that was only because of their battle.
Wang Shen said seriously:
"Vegeta, I know of an excellent place for training. Would you like to go?"
"What do you mean?"
"Vegeta, as you've seen, the Super Saiyan is only the beginning. We Saiyans have no limits."
"Since our enemies are getting stronger, we must become stronger too—to surpass the Super Saiyan!"
"Ordinary androids have already surpassed us as Super Saiyans, but among Dr. Gero's inventions, there exists the Ultimate Android."
Wang Shen's golden eyes looked exceptionally earnest, deeply touching Vegeta's heart.
"If you don't want the Super Saiyan to be humiliated, then we must keep moving forward and surpass everyone!"
Boom!
Wang Shen suddenly released the massive energy that had been dormant within him.
As the shockwave spread, the islands trembled and the sea surged.
Of all the mountain peaks for a thousand miles around, only the one beneath the feet of Wang Shen and Vegeta remained intact.
Even Vegeta felt a tremor of shock deep within his heart.
Feeling the oppressive weight of this terrifying aura at such close range, his body couldn't help but shiver uncontrollably.
"Is this... the power that transcends the Super Saiyan?"
"No, this is a level that surpasses even the Super Saiyan who has transcended the Super Saiyan. I call it, Super Saiyan Full Power."
"It is the most powerful form, yet it places the least burden on the body. It is the perfect state for combat, and once cultivated to a profound level, it can even be maintained as a base state."
Vegeta stared at Wang Shen, dumbfounded, and fell into deep contemplation.
