Background

Tang San becomes Yu Xiaogang's disciple after Yu identifies his twin martial souls. He regards Yu as a father figure and vows to make Zhou Tao pay for challenging his teacher. Yu Xiaogang, meanwhile, views Tang San's twin martial souls and innate full spirit power as proof for his theories. 2 3

Tang Hao treats Tang San as the means to restore Ah Yin through the Blue Silver Emperor bloodline. He expects Tang San to inherit that bloodline once his spirit power reaches level 50. 8

After repeated defeats by Zhou Tao, Tang San loses confidence in Blue Silver Grass and begins pursuing the Clear Sky Hammer as his primary path. Yu Xiaogang persuades him to add high-level rings to the hammer, eventually guiding him toward earth-attribute defensive rings. 79 81 82 88

Tang Hao later infuses Tang San with divine power, changing his Blue Silver Grass into Dark Blue Silver Grass. The transformed martial soul can devour flesh, blood, energy, spirit, and life force, and Tang San begins growing stronger by devouring people. 67

Tang San is exposed as Tang Hao's son and a remnant of the Tang Clan during the tournament conflict. Following further defeats and Tang Hao's rescue, he flees toward Slaughter City to pursue the Divine Slaughter's Domain and Asura God's inheritance. 112 114

After the Tang Sect's defeat at Zhou Tao's coronation, Tang San escapes rather than remain with the sect. He later returns from Asura God's divine trial as a rank 88 Evil Spirit Master and begins planning alliances against Zhou Tao and Spirit Hall. 145 153 163 164
