Li Xiaoyu and his allies entered the Ancient Well to rescue Bi Yao, then learned that the Outer Realm Demons threatened their world. After deciphering the Bone of Time, they witnessed the demons’ return and the corruption spreading across the northern land.

• After recovering from his injuries, Li Xiaoyu became Green Cloud Sect’s Sect Leader and shared authority with Lu Xueqi while reforming the sect.
• Li Xiaoyu, Lu Xueqi, Zhang Xiaofan, Xiao Bai, and Faxiang entered the Ruins of Time, where the Withered Elder revealed the Ancient Well’s connection to other eras and the prophecy surrounding Zhang Xiaofan.
• The group crossed the Ancient Well into the Space-Time Interlayer, defeated the memory-born enemies, and broke the barrier around Bi Yao.
• Li Xiaoyu restored Bi Yao’s life, and the group escaped as the Withered Elder and the Time-Warding Clan sacrificed themselves to stop the Demon Eye and save Emerald Valley.
• The Withered Elder gave Li Xiaoyu the Bone of Time and warned that the Outer Realm Demons had arrived, and Zhang Xiaofan left with Bi Yao and Faxiang for Mount Sumeru.
• Li Xiaoyu and his allies deciphered the Bone of Time and witnessed the Heavenly Emperor seal their world after fighting the Outer Realm Demons in the first era.
• A black pillar appeared in the west as the Outer Realm Demons arrived, and the Scar of the Demons corrupted the northern land, turning its inhabitants into Demon Remains that moved toward the Central Plains Continent.

Li Xiaoyu united the sects against the Outer Realm Demons and gathered the relics needed to reach Kunlun, while Zhang Xiaofan reunited the five volumes of the Heavenly Tome. The group found the Heavenly Emperor Seal fragment within Green Cloud Mountain’s dragon vein, but Ancestor Qingye demanded that Li Xiaoyu pass a final trial before claiming it.

• Li Xiaoyu formed an alliance with the Heavenly Sound Temple and Jin Ping'er’s Holy Mother Sect, then led their forces to destroy the Demon Seed driving the attacks.
• Bi Yao awakened with the Nether Holy Mother’s power, and Zhang Xiaofan agreed to help protect the world by uniting the five volumes of the Heavenly Tome.
• Zhang Xiaofan overcame his inner demons, forged the Primordial Dao Mark, and revealed that the group needed the Sea-Calming Pearl, Armillary Sphere, and Heavenly Emperor Seal to reach Kunlun.
• Li Xiaoyu, Lu Xueqi, and Xiao Bai retrieved the Sea-Calming Pearl from the Sea Emperor, who pledged the East Sea sea clan’s support against the Outer Realm Demons.
• Li Xiaoyu and his allies recovered the Armillary Sphere from the Nether Abyss, defeated the corrupted Heavenly Fiend Bright King, and sealed the rift with the Sea-Calming Pearl.
• Li Xiaoyu used the Armillary Sphere to locate a fragment of the Heavenly Emperor Seal hidden in Green Cloud Mountain’s dragon vein, where Ancestor Qingye had placed it to suppress the Immortal-Slaying Sword’s malevolent aura.
• Zhang Xiaofan opened the concealed passage into the dragon vein’s heart, but Ancestor Qingye’s remnant soul blocked Li Xiaoyu from taking the fragment and demanded that he pass a final trial.

Li Xiaoyu gathered the Heavenly Emperor Seal fragments across time, learned of Lu Xueqi’s sacrifice in the ruined future, and returned to his own era. With Lu Xueqi, Zhang Xiaofan, and Bi Yao, he entered Kunlun and passed two trials before facing a final game for the world’s future.

• Li Xiaoyu and his companions passed Qingye’s Heart-Inquiry Array, received his insights, and used the Armillary Sphere to locate the second Heavenly Emperor Seal fragment in the Ruins of Time.
• At the ancient battlefield, the Heavenly Emperor gave Li Xiaoyu the second fragment and shared his memories and strength with the four travelers.
• Li Xiaoyu traveled alone into the demon-corrupted future, found Lu Xueqi’s grave, and learned that she had died protecting the survivors.
• At Hope Bastion, Faxiang and Jin Ping’er entrusted Li Xiaoyu with the final seal fragment before sacrificing themselves to protect the refuge from the Demon Lord.
• Li Xiaoyu escaped the future badly wounded and returned to Lu Xueqi, then joined her, Zhang Xiaofan, and Bi Yao in opening the way to Kunlun.
• The four passed Kunlun’s first trial by breaking the Star Dipper Grand Array and its Star Soul Puppets.
• They purified the four elemental sources in the hidden realm, restoring its grotto-heaven and core spiritual vein.
• The Heavenly Emperor began the third trial by summoning a cosmic chessboard and leaving the four to face his Chess Soul in a game for the world’s future.
