History

Heart Power first becomes relevant to Lei Zhan when the Yellow-Haired Great Bear identifies Baimu Mountain's Ten Thousand Demon Graveyard as a suitable place to temper a Dao-heart. The graveyard's lingering killing intent and obsessions may allow a sufficiently fortunate cultivator to comprehend Heart Power. 84

Without a cultivation method, Lei Zhan enters the tomb where the killing intent is densest. The intent assaults his divine soul directly and risks turning him into a bloodthirsty madman, but he withstands it and realizes that Heart Power is the force of the heart itself. His first use lasts only an instant, yet ruptures space. 85
