Sikong Jing used the key to summon the Righteous Seal and Evil Seal against the Flame Prison Heavenly Emperor’s spirit-shadow avatar, striking before the Emperor could act against the Seal Sovereign Empire. The avatar was destroyed, while the Six-Clawed Evilheart Beast remained on the battlefield and the imperial palace formation buckled under the clash.
Sikong Jing mocked Flame Prison Heavenly Emperor after the Righteous and Evil Seals blasted away his spirit-shadow and the Six-Clawed Evilheart Beast. The beast survived and returned badly wounded, leaving the Seal Sovereign Empire's enemies begging for mercy as Sikong Jing remained calm.
Sikong Jing drove off the Six-Clawed Evilheart Beast with a bluff, then concealed himself nearby and prepared to lure it away from the Seal Sovereign Imperial Palace. As the beast threatened to devour everyone, the Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor arrived and confronted it.
The Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor arrived and learned that the Seal Sovereign Empire had destroyed Flame Prison’s spirit-shadow avatar and exposed his plan to create a new Lord of Ten Thousand Beasts. While Green Leaf protected the empire, Sikong Jing remained hidden nearby, uncertain whether Green Leaf would spare or target him.
The Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor drove off the wounded Six-Clawed Evilheart Beast, then questioned the Seal Sovereign Empire about Sikong Jing’s connection to the Nine Heavens Emperor. He suspected Sikong Jing of using Green Leaf Palace against Flame Prison, but spared him for now and ordered him to appear with his father or lose the empire’s protection.
The Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor left after declaring that the Seal Sovereign Empire belonged to Green Leaf Palace and that the Burial Emperor Tomb would soon prevent Heavenly Emperors and Quasi-Emperors from descending. Sikong Jing returned to the palace, while the arrival of all Five Heavenly Emperors in Boundless Sea raised questions about an impending major event.
As the Burial Emperor Sea threatened to swallow the Boundless Sea, the Seal Sovereign Empire accepted that it had to rely on the Green Leaf Palace and cooperate with its efforts. The Xiao Luo Divine Sect left to investigate whether another Heavenly Emperor had claimed it, while Sikong Jing remained confident he could face the forces soon to arrive.
After the Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor withdrew, Sikong Jing revealed more of his schemes to Jun Yibai and reclaimed the hidden ferocious beast souls. The Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor then returned to announce that factions would receive Supergod Spatial Formations and compete for treasures in Burial Emperor Sea.
The Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor established a super-divine spatial formation and warned Flame Prison against attacking the Seal Sovereign Empire, while Sikong Jing set out for the Desolate Sea. Flame Prison moved to claim the Heaven-Soaring Imperial Family, but Ling Liaoyuan appeared and challenged him.
Ling Liaoyuan forced Flame Prison’s spirit-shadow clone to retreat, then told the Heaven-Soaring Imperial Family about the Sword Extinction Totem and ordered them to support Heaven-Soaring Palace’s bid for it. He left after revealing that the Five Heavenly Emperors had been killing anyone who approached the Emperor Realm, while the family celebrated their chance to return to Heaven-Soaring Palace and mourned those Sikong Jing had killed.
Ling Zhujie persuaded the Heaven-Soaring Imperial Family not to reject Sikong Jing as they prepared to compete for the Sword Extinction Totem. As the Heavenly Emperors and quasi-Emperors divided the Boundless Sea’s factions, Flame Prison clashed with the other Heavenly Emperors and was left with the dangerous Xiao Luo Divine Sect.
Yan Hui rushed to the Desolate Sea Region to attack the Cangyu Demon Sect and fulfill Flame Prison’s orders, while Sikong Jing traveled there through a Supergod Spatial Formation. Yan Hui found Cangyu Island deserted and tried to lure Sikong Ding and Su Yuexian out of the Desolate Sea Absolute Formation by claiming he had captured Sikong Jing.
Su Yuexi reassured the people sheltering in the Desolate Sea Absolute Formation that Sikong Jing was safe while they refused to yield to Yan Hui’s threats. As Su Yuexian left to answer Su Yuexi’s summons, Yao Yulou arrived in North Dance City with the Demon Dream Witch, and the King of Night Charms appeared.
The King of Night Charms tried to reclaim the Demon Dream Witch, but Su Yuexian challenged it and convinced it to leave with her for a conversation at Su Beiheng's grave. Outside the Desolate Sea formation, Yan Hui fumed that Sikong Jing's allies refused to come out.
Sikong Jing returned to the Desolate Sea Region and prepared to use his restored army-slaying formation against Yan Hui's forces. Yan Hui threatened to massacre the Seal Sovereign troops, and as Su Yuexian confronted him, an unknown speaker offered to come out in Sikong Ding's place.
Sikong Jing returned to stop Yan Hui from slaughtering the Seal Sovereign troops and formed the Break Nine Heavens Army-Slaying Formation. Su Yuexian immobilized Yan Hui’s five guards with the Night Charm Illusory Heart Curse, leaving Sikong Jing to gather enough force to strike them before the curse ended.
Sikong Jing and Su Yuexian fought Yan Hui and restrained his guards, while the King of Night Charms arranged to take the Demon Dream Witch to the Charm King Palace for a trial of her past lives. The King borrowed her soul to create a Supergod Spatial Formation, then returned her to her body, and she agreed to go with it.
The King of Night Charms warned Yao Yulou about a soul fragment, a second reincarnation body in the Burial Emperor Sea, and the need for Sikong Jing to stay hidden. Meanwhile, Sikong Jing and Su Yuexian killed Yan Hui and his five guards before Yan Hui could reveal the King of Night Charms’ descent to Flame Prison.
After Yan Hui’s death, Sikong Jing learned from Su Yuexian that the King of Night Charms had departed and warned that the Burial Emperor Tomb’s influence would soon endanger Boundless Sea. As Sikong Jing prepared to use the Supergod Spatial Formation, strange black cracks appeared in the sky above them.
Sikong Jing and the others learned that the cracks spreading across the sky were Burial Emperor Marks, which brought forth deadly yin spirits and evil qi. The phenomenon drove off the Flame Prison Heavenly Emperor and destroyed his spirit-shadow avatar for the third time, leaving Sikong Jing to prepare everyone for the coming factional struggle over the Sword Extinction Totem.
After Flame Prison failed to capture the King of Night Charms, the secret of its nine reincarnated souls was exposed to the Heavenly Emperors. A month and a half later, Green Leaf Palace arrived with a Sovereign Seal Imperial Decree demanding Sikong Jing, his father, and Su Yuexian submit to punishment, leaving Sikong Jing to suspect the secret had reached them.
Sikong Jing prepared to negotiate with Green Leaf Palace on the Seal Sovereign Great Continent while secretly relying on Charm King Palace as protection. He left with Jun Yiyao, as Sikong Ding and Su Yuexian followed in secret and Su Yuexi organized the Desolate Sea’s defenses.
Sikong Jing and Jun Yiyao arrived at the Seal Sovereign Great Continent and found Green Leaf Palace’s forces waiting around the spatial formation. Feng Shixian began leading them to meet the expedition’s leader, but five Azure Fire General Camp members arrived to stop them.
Sikong Jing faced Fire Thunder, a young Azure Fire General who accused him of killing Yu Gou and attacked him. After losing their first clash, Sikong Jing conceded, but Fire Thunder threatened to extract his spirit shadow unless he transformed into his Humanoid Fierce Beast state.
Sikong Jing let Fire Thunder believe he had been defeated, then effortlessly beat Xu Ya and the others who attacked him. He forced Fire Thunder to back down and left Jun Yiyao understanding that his earlier defeat had been deliberate.
