Sikong Jing defeated Yin Henzi’s possessed body and drove Yin Henzi’s half spirit shadow to flee, then questioned the dying Yin Shi about Wang Ge. Yin Shi agreed to answer why Yin Henzi called Wang Ge a treasure and wanted his arm and fingers.
Sikong Jing learned that Yin Henzi suspected Wang Ge carried an Emperor bloodline, recovered her severed little finger from the dying Yin Shi, and was transported out when the Spirit-Seizing Battlefield closed. Weng Ting and the other young fighters returned, but Sikong Jing was missing.
Everyone believed Sikong Jing had died after the Spirit-Seizing entrance closed, and the Elder Family’s grief turned into a violent attack on their enemies. Yin Henzi then revealed that Sikong Jing was alive and in his hands, but A Xie and the others had already snapped the necks of the people they were holding.
Duanmu Chun held Pei Feishan back with the Army-Slaying Formation so Yao Yulou could pursue Yin Henzi and rescue Sikong Jing. Yao Yulou chose to unleash his hidden strength despite the risk of being exposed to the Thousand Kings Holy Tower.
Duanmu Chun fought Pei Feishan’s forces above Eastern Spirit City while Yao Yulou escaped, and Weng Ting and Hua Meixi worried about Sikong Jing. Outside the city, Sikong Jing used the Blood Charm Demon Cat to stop Yin Henzi from harming him, but Yin Henzi threatened to destroy Sikong Jing’s spirit platform.
Yin Henzi tried to seize the Blood Charm Demon Cat, but the Two-Horned War Demon Tiger stopped his power from entering Sikong Jing’s spiritual platform. Sikong Jing kept Yin Henzi at bay by threatening the cat’s destruction, and Yin Henzi offered to take him as a disciple in exchange for it.
Sikong Jing used Yin Henzi’s desire for the Blood Charm Demon Cat to keep himself safe while hoping Yin Henzi would take him to the Thoughtless Sacred Sect. Yao Yulou caught up with them, but Sikong Jing urged him not to risk revealing his strength because Yin Henzi could not harm him.
Sikong Jing persuaded Yao Yulou not to risk fighting Yin Henzi, assuring him he could reach the Thoughtless Sacred Sect safely. Yao Yulou returned to Eastern Spirit City after Yin Henzi withdrew, leaving his allies to fear that Sikong Jing had died.
Yao Yulou told the others that Sikong Jing had sent him away to keep him safe, while Sikong Jing remained Yin Henzi’s captive. Yin Henzi took Sikong Jing to Ten Thousand Ice City instead of the Thoughtless Sacred Sect, where Fox General Ren You greeted him.
Yin Henzi left Sikong Jing under guard while he sought Master Wuji’s help with the Imperial Artifact in Sikong Jing’s spirit platform. Unable to get an earlier place in line, Yin Henzi waited as Sikong Jing secretly refined the Eternal Night Love Art and turned to the sleeping demon wolf for a solution.
Sikong Jing baited the Eternal Night Demon Wolf into trading cultivation insights, improving the Eternal Night Love Art and helping the wolf advance. He then offered to reveal the source of the meridian diagram if the wolf betrayed Yin Henzi, alarming Ren You and the other women.
Sikong Jing used the Eternal Night Wolf King's meridian diagrams to bargain with the Eternal Night Demon Wolf for cultivation arts and meridian knowledge, improving his Eternal Night Love Art. He then pressed Ren You for more Mindless Fox Sect techniques, while the Eternal Night Demon Wolf promised to take responsibility.
Sikong Jing perfected the Eternal Night Love Art to the pinnacle of the Spirit grade while the Eternal Night Demon Wolf advanced to the peak of the second major realm of the Emperor Martial Stage. When Northern Abyss Cold Mountain challenged the Thoughtless Sacred Sect, the Demon Wolf lent its power to Ren You, and the dispute escalated into a battle.
Sikong Jing watched the gambling matches between the Mindless Fox Sect and Northern Abyss Cold Mountain advance to a decisive final bout. With the Mindless Fox Sect facing defeat and the loss of a hundred disciples, Sikong Jing offered to help and claimed to be a disciple of the Thoughtless Sacred Sect.
Sikong Jing concealed his identity and volunteered to fight for the Mindless Fox Sect in its wager battle against Northern Abyss Cold Mountain. He killed Liu Weng with one strike, leaving the enemy fighters enraged and surrounding him.
Sikong Jing defeated Liu Weng and then fought Lu Shan without revealing a battle physique, confirming the Mindless Fox Sect had won the wager. Old Ghost Cold Soul withdrew under the Eternal Night Demon Wolf's threat, but suspected Yin Henzi was Sikong Jing's master.
Sikong Jing used the false name Sikong Buwang and claimed to be an ordinary disciple of Everlasting Love Venerable’s line to conceal his identity and protect his sister. After the Northern Abyss Cold Mountain group left, Ren You learned that Sikong Jing had killed Yin Henzi’s beloved disciple, Yin Shi.
Ren You and the Mindless Fox Sect left Sikong Jing’s affairs alone, while Yin Henzi consulted Master Wuji about Sikong Jing’s supposed Imperial Artifact. Master Wuji rejected Yin Henzi’s theory and hinted that Sikong Jing might have dual spirit shadows, then revealed that he had once met someone who truly possessed them.
Master Wuji reconsidered Yin Henzi’s account and claimed that Sikong Jing might possess a Sacred Artifact rather than an Imperial Artifact, then persuaded Yin Henzi to take him to Sikong Jing. That night, Yin Henzi arrived at the Mindless Fox Sect’s manor in Ten Thousand Ice City with Master Wuji, where Sikong Jing had just awakened.
Yin Henzi brought Master Wuji to examine the supposed sacred artifact in Sikong Jing’s spiritual platform, but Master Wuji insisted on speaking with Sikong Jing alone. With Yin Henzi watching from a distance, Master Wuji revealed that he doubted Sikong Jing had relied on any artifact to defeat him.
Master Wuji privately tested Sikong Jing with a series of startlingly accurate guesses, culminating in the possibility that Sikong Jing possessed dual spirit shadows. Sikong Jing refused to confirm it and began guessing why Master Wuji had sought him out, leaving the old master waiting to hear his answer.
Sikong Jing deduced that Master Wuji was a former subordinate of Su Old Devil and had come to assess him as a potential leader for a broken organization. After Sikong Jing revealed that he had met Xiu Hanzhi and He Congsheng, Master Wuji asked whether the two were still alive.
Sikong Jing told Master Wuji that he had joined the shattered organization, and the two agreed to deceive Yin Henzi so Sikong Jing could enter the Thoughtless Sacred Sect. Master Wuji claimed Sikong Jing had no artifact in his spiritual platform, but Yin Henzi responded by attacking Master Wuji’s guards, revealing them to be Emperor Martial Stage War Puppets.
Yin Henzi became convinced that Sikong Jing possessed a Sacred Artifact and decided to kill Master Wuji to keep it secret. After the Eternal Night Demon Wolf swallowed Master Wuji, Yin Henzi attacked his own mount and revealed that he planned to kill it and frame it for the murder.
Yin Henzi revealed his plan to frame Northern Abyss Cold Mountain for Master Wuji’s death and attacked the Eternal Night Demon Wolf to make the lie convincing. When Sikong Jing urged the wolf to resist, it finally overcame its loyalty to Yin Henzi and prepared to fight back.
