Ch. 126Devouring Beast Heart, Princess as Hostage

Sikong Jing emerged alive from the transcendent warhorse after devouring its heart and inner core, then took Xia Dielian hostage to force the Xia Kingdom experts to stand down. He led his hundred thousand soldiers toward the dangerous Dark Dragon Mountains, leaving the Xia experts to clear their path under threat.

  • Sikong Jing devoured the transcendent warhorse's heart and inner core from inside its body, breaking through several levels of the Human Realm as the horse rampaged and died.
  • Sikong Jing burst from the horse's corpse, seized Xia Dielian, and threatened to kill her if the Xia Kingdom experts approached.
  • Sikong Jing struck Xia Dielian's meridian nodes to weaken her, then brought her into the ranks of his hundred thousand soldiers as Sui Yu guarded him.
  • Xia Dielian warned Sikong Jing that killing her would doom him and his soldiers, and demanded that he surrender to Great Xia.
  • Sikong Jing asked A-Hu for the nearest mountain range and ordered his soldiers to enter the Dark Dragon Mountains.
  • When the Xia Kingdom experts blocked their way, Sikong Jing dislocated Xia Dielian's arm, forcing them to let his group pass.

Ch. 127Sikong Jing is truly terrifying

Sikong Jing led the Brocade Sect and a hundred thousand troops out of Yanyun City, then overwhelmed Fan Zhong’s three-hundred-thousand-strong army on the route to the Dark Dragon Mountains. The chapter left Fan Zhong and his commanders hiding underground as Xia Kingdom’s experts pursued Sikong Jing, who had escaped by taking their female leader hostage.

  • Xia Dielian ordered her forces to pursue Sikong Jing and sent word for Great Xia’s army to march into Yun Province.
  • Lan Shou told Fan Zhong to kill everyone emerging from Yanyun City, while Mo Yang volunteered to slaughter Sikong Jing and his troops.
  • Sikong Jing and the Brocade Sect emerged with the entire hundred-thousand-strong army, and Fan Zhong ordered his own troops to charge them.
  • Sui Yu realized the Great Shang Dynasty had intended to sacrifice the Brocade Sect as well, and Sikong Jing led his forces toward the Dark Dragon Mountains.
  • Sikong Jing’s army cut through Fan Zhong’s larger force, and Fan Zhong hurled Lan Shou onto the battlefield before fleeing.
  • Fan Zhong warned Mo Yang and the other commanders that Xia Kingdom’s experts were pursuing them and that Sikong Jing had escaped by taking Xia Dielian hostage, so they buried themselves in a pit.

Ch. 128Dark Dragon Mountains

Sikong Jing killed Lan Shou and led the Brocade Sect and his hundred thousand troops into the Dark Dragon Mountains as millions of Xia Kingdom soldiers pursued them to rescue Xia Dielian. Fan Zhong and his deputy commanders concealed their role in the siege and assumed Sikong Jing could not survive, while Xia Dielian continued to demand his surrender.

  • Sikong Jing questioned Lan Shou about the order to kill every Brocade Sect member, then killed him and charged toward the Dark Dragon Mountains.
  • A gold-armored Xia Kingdom commander ordered the Yun Province War Office soldiers slaughtered, and Fan Zhong and three deputy commanders later emerged from hiding.
  • Fan Zhong's group learned that Xia forces had breached the border war city and that their captive was Princess Dielian, then agreed to deny knowing Sikong Jing or the siege.
  • Fan Zhong and the deputy commanders hid again as millions of Xia Kingdom troops entered the Dark Dragon Mountains to rescue Princess Dielian.
  • After two days of marching through the mountains, Sikong Jing's exhausted army faced Xia Dielian's repeated demands that he surrender.

Ch. 129Do You Believe in Miracles?

Sikong Jing triggered a beast tide in the Dark Dragon Mountains to stop the pursuing Xia Kingdom army, then hid with his troops inside horse carcasses to survive. Two days later, while the beast tide still raged, Sikong Jing suddenly burst out of a horse.

  • Sikong Jing had Sui Yu detonate the blood they had buried along their route, drawing the demon beasts into a massive beast tide.
  • Sikong Jing revealed the beast tide and ordered his troops to kill their horses and hide inside the carcasses until it passed.
  • Xia Dielian ordered the Xia Kingdom army to retreat, but the beasts had already begun surrounding the troops.
  • The Xia Kingdom experts followed Sikong Jing's survival method and relayed it to the army, which fought and retreated amid the beast tide.
  • After two days, Sikong Jing suddenly burst out through the horse while the beast tide had not yet receded.

Ch. 130Farewell, Sui Yu Departs First

Sikong Jing led his forces out of the Dark Dragon Mountains while Xia Dielian vowed to recruit him rather than expose him as a target. He left Sui Yu behind to investigate why Yan Tianmo had sent him to his death, and Sui Yu’s father confronted Yuwen Guan and Yan Ruyu in the Great Shang Imperial City.

  • Sikong Jing secretly pulled Sui Yu, A-Hu, Old Zhang, and the others from the horse carcasses and led the hundred thousand troops away before the beast tide ended.
  • Xia Dielian emerged after the beast tide subsided, discovered Sikong Jing had escaped, and learned that only two million of her army had survived.
  • Xia Dielian refused to issue a wanted notice and ordered her troops to conceal their defeat, declaring that she wanted to recruit Sikong Jing.
  • Sikong Jing stopped at the edge of the Dark Dragon Mountains while Sui Yu returned to the imperial city to investigate why Yan Tianmo had sent him to his death.
  • Sui Wenzhan confronted Yuwen Guan and Yan Ruyu outside the King of Equal Rank’s Residence and demanded to know what had happened to Sui Yu.

Ch. 131What Vicious Dogs

Sui Yu returned alive after escaping Yun Province and revealed that he had caused the beast tide that wiped out two million Xia troops. Sikong Jing received word that Yuwen Guan and Yan Ruyu had tried to have Sui Yu killed and condemned them.

  • Yan Ruyu told Sui Wenzhan that Sui Yu had died in battle, and Yuwen Guan threatened to destroy the Sui Clan if Sui Wenzhan mentioned Sikong Jing again.
  • Yan Ruyu explained that they had sent Sui Yu to his death because they considered him an unworthy heir whose character tarnished Yuwen Guan's reputation.
  • Sui Yu appeared alive, embraced his father, and claimed he had escaped by taking Princess Dielian hostage and triggering a beast tide that destroyed two million Xia troops.
  • Sui Yu asked Yuwen Guan and Yan Ruyu to reward him with a promotion or the Brocade Sect, but Yuwen Guan told him to wait for news.
  • Sui Yu sent word to Sikong Jing in the Dark Dragon Mountains, and Sikong Jing condemned Yuwen Guan and Yan Ruyu for trying to kill him.

Ch. 132Your Jing Gege is Dead

Sikong Jing led thirty thousand troops toward Yunye City while Su Yuexi anxiously sought news of him. As bandits attacked the city, Duan Chengshan betrayed Su Zhenglong and finally told Su Yuexi that Jing Gege had died with the army outside Yanyun City.

  • Sikong Jing dismissed most of his forces and hurried toward Yunye City with thirty thousand soldiers as bandits and Xia Kingdom troops ravaged Yun Province.
  • Su Yuexi asked Duan Chengshan for news of Jing Gege, but he dismissed her concerns and ordered Su Zhenglong to help defend Yunye City.
  • Duan Chengshan privately revealed that he planned to claim Su Yuexi for his son and hide Jing Gege's reported death until he could blame it on the city's fall.
  • Su Zhenglong and the city's martial artists joined the remaining soldiers to defend Yunye City against the bandits.
  • As the defenders faltered, Duan Chengshan tricked Su Zhenglong into confronting the bandit leader alone, then restrained Su Yuexi when she tried to save her father.
  • Duan Chengshan told Su Yuexi that Jing Gege had died with Fan Zhong's six hundred thousand troops outside Yanyun City.

Ch. 133Return, Under Yunye City

Su Yuexi saw Sikong Jing return with Yunye City's thirty thousand troops and leaped from the city wall into his arms. Surrounded by horse bandits, she urged him to save her wounded father, Su Zhenglong.

  • Su Yuexi begged Duan Chengshan to open the gates for her wounded father, and he demanded that she become his son's wife and forget Sikong Jing.
  • Su Yuexi spotted the approaching force and suspected its leader was Sikong Jing; he recognized her and called out that he had returned.
  • Su Yuexi jumped from the city wall, and Sikong Jing used Beast Technique: Flying Blood to catch her in midair.
  • The city guards realized the approaching force was Sikong Jing's surviving thirty thousand Yunye troops, not reinforcements from Yun Province City.
  • As horse bandits surrounded them, Su Yuexi reminded Sikong Jing to save her father, Su Zhenglong.

Ch. 134Insubordination, Deserving of Death

Sikong Jing rescued Su Zhenglong, led Yunye City's troops to destroy the horse bandits, and confronted City Lord Duan Chengshan over his treatment of Sikong Jing’s family. After killing two guards and admitting he had killed Qiu Ye and Xing E, Sikong Jing slapped Duan Chengshan down and challenged him to make him pay.

  • Sikong Jing sent the horse bandit leader flying, rescued Su Zhenglong, and ordered the troops to attack.
  • Led by A-Hu and Old Zhang, Yunye City's thirty thousand soldiers slaughtered the horse bandits, and Sikong Jing treated Su Zhenglong's wounds.
  • Duan Chengshan opened the city gates and welcomed the returning troops, then tried to win their favor with promises of rewards.
  • Sikong Jing accused Duan Chengshan of bullying his family, killed two City Lord's Guard officers, and confessed to killing Qiu Ye and Xing E.
  • Duan Chengshan called Sikong Jing's actions insubordination, and Sikong Jing slapped him to the ground and challenged him.

Ch. 135The Lord of Yun Province Approaches Yunye

Sikong Jing took control of Yunye City's thirty thousand soldiers, crippled Duan Chengshan, and ordered the City Lord's guards killed. He declared that the Lord of Yun Province would not reach the city, despite the messenger's announcement that he would arrive in three hours.

  • Duan Chengshan ordered the Yunye soldiers to seize Sikong Jing, but A-Hu, Old Zhang, and the officers stepped forward and slapped him while the soldiers sided with Sikong Jing.
  • Sikong Jing told Duan Chengshan that the thirty thousand soldiers answered to him, and the troops drew their weapons against the City Lord and his guards.
  • A messenger announced that the Lord of Yun Province would arrive in three hours, prompting Duan Chengshan to threaten Sikong Jing with the Lord's power.
  • Sikong Jing broke both of Duan Chengshan's arms and destroyed his dantian and meridians after recalling how he had harmed Su Zhenglong and tried to give Su Yuexi to his son.
  • Sikong Jing ordered the soldiers to kill the City Lord's guards, and A-Hu and the old prisoners slaughtered them.
  • Sikong Jing left Duan Chengshan alive and told him that the Lord of Yun Province would not reach Yunye City.

Ch. 136The City Lord Dies by the Hands of Bandits

Sikong Jing killed Duan Chengshan after the Lord of Yun Province was forced to retreat, then returned to the Su Mansion and told Su Zhenglong and Su Yuexi about the campaign. His in-laws believed he was exaggerating and credited his feats to Sui Yu, while Su Yuexi admired him.

  • Sikong Jing reassured Su Zhenglong that the Lord of Yun Province would not reach Yunye City, while Duan Chengshan refused to help conceal the truth.
  • Nearly a thousand Brocade Sect experts disguised themselves as Xia Kingdom experts and attacked the Lord of Yun Province, forcing him to retreat.
  • Sikong Jing killed Duan Chengshan and told the crowd to claim that horse bandits had killed him and his guard officers.
  • At the Su Mansion, Sikong Jing explained that Fan Zhong had fabricated the report of six hundred thousand troops dying and recounted his campaign to Su Zhenglong, Mei Xiaofang, and Su Yuexi.
  • Sikong Jing admitted that he had sent the disguised experts to drive back the Lord of Yun Province and conceal his recovery and Su Yuexi's restored appearance.
  • Mei Xiaofang and Su Zhenglong privately dismissed Sikong Jing's story as boasting, believing Sui Yu had accomplished the major feats instead.

Ch. 137The Yun Province Grand Competition Proceeds as Usual

Sikong Jing learned that the Lord of Yun Province had ordered the Yun Province Grand Competition to proceed and required him to attend, despite the danger. As he weighed whether to go, Su Yuexian returned and forbade Su Yuexi from competing.

  • Su Yuexi told Sikong Jing she wanted to become his true bride, and they spent the night together.
  • A-Hu warned Sikong Jing that an envoy from the Lord of Yun Province was coming to Su Mansion.
  • Envoy Lan had a physician examine Sikong Jing, then ordered the Su family to travel to Yun Province City and bring him to the Grand Competition.
  • Envoy Lan said Sikong Jing might die during the competition, while Sikong Jing suspected an old acquaintance was behind the summons.
  • Su Yuexian arrived and ordered Su Yuexi not to take part in the competition.

Ch. 138Help Me One More Time

Su Yuexian warned Su Zhenglong, Mei Xiaofang, and Su Yuexi not to go to Yun Province, then asked Sikong Jing to fight her. After her attempt to make him seriously injure her failed, she left and targeted the Blue-surnamed envoy as she prepared to leave the city.

  • Su Yuexian forbade Su Yuexi from going to the Yun Province Grand Competition, warning that the Noble Young Master would favor her less and that the family would not survive the trip.
  • Sikong Jing found Su Yuexian hiding nearby, and she asked him to fight her without explaining why.
  • Su Yuexian attacked Sikong Jing with her killing sword technique, but he evaded her strikes and proved much stronger despite being at the sixth level of the Human Realm.
  • Su Yuexian withdrew her true energy and let Sikong Jing's palm hit her, hoping he would seriously injure her, but he pulled back in time.
  • Su Yuexian left, saying she still had to return seriously injured, then spotted the Blue-surnamed envoy leaving the city and charged at him.

Ch. 139Yun Province City, Noble Young Master

Sikong Jing and the Su family set out for Yun Province City to face the threat surrounding Su Yuexian. There, Su Yuexian learned Noble Young Master expected her to kill a family member, and she was stunned to hear Su Yuexi had arrived for the competition.

  • Mei Xiaofang suspected Su Yuexian had asked to be wounded to avoid an assassin mission, and Su Zhenglong resolved to go to Yun Province City with Sikong Jing and the family.
  • Noble Young Master accused Su Yuexian of failing to kill Su Zhenglong's family and demanded she complete the mission by killing Su Yuexi at the competition.
  • Su Yuexian accepted another chance from Noble Young Master, who threatened to kill her entire family if she failed again.
  • Su Yuexian left the manor hoping her family would stay away from the competition, then heard the City Guard announce Su Yuexi's arrival at the gates.

Ch. 140The Young City Lord of Yunye

Su Yuexian watched her family arrive in Yun Province City and was forced by Noble Sword to choose a target for an assassination that night. Meanwhile, Sikong Jing and Su Yuexi reached their lodging, where Duan Chun accused the Su Clan of killing his father and confronted them.

  • Su Yuexian saw Su Zhenglong, Mei Xiaofang, and Su Yuexi enter the city, while Noble Sword ordered her to choose someone to assassinate that night.
  • Su Yuexian overheard Su Yuexi speaking affectionately to her husband, Sikong Jing, and then told Noble Sword she had made her choice.
  • Sikong Jing sensed a faint trace of complicated killing intent from the carriage but dismissed it, and Su Yuexi asked whether the Lord of Yun Province could see through his disguise.
  • A-Hu brought Sikong Jing and Su Yuexi to their assigned residence, where Duan Chun demanded to know how his father had died.
  • A-Hu told Duan Chun that Duan Chengshan had died in a bandit attack, and Duan Chun slapped him before accusing Su Yuexi and her clan of killing his father.

Ch. 141Duan Chun's Backer Arrives

Sikong Jing let Duan Chun summon his supposed backer, Deputy Commander Mo Yang, to the Su Clan estate. Mo Yang arrived in a fury, but when Sikong Jing appeared, he immediately fell to his knees.

  • A-Hu subdued Duan Chun while Old Zhang knocked away Duan Chun's guards.
  • Duan Chun claimed Deputy Commander Mo Yang was his backer, and Sikong Jing told him to bring Mo Yang to the estate.
  • Duan Chun left to fetch Mo Yang, while Sikong Jing reassured Su Zhenglong and Mei Xiaofang that the deputy commander would not dare act against them.
  • Mo Yang arrived with his men and demanded to see Sikong Jing, whom he remembered from their past encounter.
  • Sikong Jing calmly came out to meet Mo Yang, and Mo Yang promptly dropped to his knees.

Ch. 142Deploying One Hundred Thousand Soldiers

Sikong Jing revealed himself to Mo Yang and forced the deputy commander to acknowledge that he owed Sikong Jing his life. He then asked Mo Yang to arrange for one hundred thousand troops to be stationed in Yun Province City.

  • Mo Yang panicked when he saw Sikong Jing and learned that Sikong Jing, the Yunye City soldiers, and the Brocade Sect members had all survived.
  • Mo Yang slapped Duan Chun after discovering that Sikong Jing was the Su Clan's criminal son-in-law, then ordered his guards to leave so he could speak with Sikong Jing.
  • When Sikong Jing said he had killed Duan Chengshan, Mo Yang insisted that Duan Chengshan had died to horse bandits and threatened Duan Chun with the same fate.
  • Mo Yang promised that Sikong Jing was still sickly and asked what else he could do to earn his forgiveness.
  • Sikong Jing asked Mo Yang to arrange for one hundred thousand troops to be stationed in Yun Province City, leaving Mo Yang and the Su couple stunned.

Ch. 143Misunderstanding

Sikong Jing asked Mo Yang to help secretly bring a hundred thousand surviving troops into Yun Province City, while Su Zhenglong and Mei Xiaofang learned of Sikong Jing’s deeds and regretted doubting him. Their reunion with Su Yuexian went badly when she mistook family belongings and favors for proof that they valued Su Yuexi more, and the chapter left the family unable to reach her as A-Hu summoned Sikong Jing.

  • Sikong Jing told Mo Yang to arrange for the hundred thousand surviving troops to enter Yun Province City secretly, and Mo Yang agreed to involve Fan Zhong and the other commanders.
  • A-Hu and the soldiers recounted Sikong Jing’s battle at Yanyun City to Su Zhenglong and Mei Xiaofang, who realized they had misunderstood him.
  • Su Yuexi emerged and reproached her parents for doubting Sikong Jing, but Su Yuexian suddenly appeared at the doorway.
  • Su Yuexian accused Su Zhenglong and the others of favoring Su Yuexi, citing the Flowing Cloud Flying Squirrel and Jadeite Hairpin as evidence.
  • Su Yuexian silenced A-Hu when he tried to intervene, and he sent someone to call Sikong Jing back.

Ch. 144You are her Jing Gege?

  • Su Yuexian revealed that a Noble Young Master had ordered her to kill one member of her family, and Su Zhenglong offered himself to protect the others.
  • Su Yuexi explained that Sikong Jing had given her the Flowing Cloud Flying Squirrel scarf, but Su Yuexian decided to kill him instead.
  • Sikong Jing returned, and Su Yuexian discovered that he was her Jing Gege and brother-in-law.

  • A-Hu and Su Zhenglong explained that Sikong Jing had also given Su Yuexi the squirrel and that Su Zhenglong had kept the one Su Yuexian gave him; Su Yuexian was left shaken by the truth.

Ch. 145Su Yuexian, Assassin's Creed

Su Yuexian left her family after learning the truth about the Jadeite Hairpin, then returned to the Noble Young Master's estate intending to kill him and protect her relatives. Sikong Jing followed her and secretly entered the compound, where she persuaded Noble Sword to escort her to the young master.

  • Su Yuexi explained the Jadeite Hairpin's history and their father Su Zhenglong's background, but Su Yuexian declined the hairpin and left after bidding her family farewell.
  • Mei Xiaofang feared Su Yuexian would kill herself for failing her mission, so Sikong Jing promised to pursue her and told Su Zhenglong and Su Yuexi to stay in the courtyard.
  • Sikong Jing tracked Su Yuexian to a grand residence in Yun Province City's noble district and slipped inside after seeing her enter.
  • Noble Sword demanded the head Su Yuexian was supposed to bring, but she claimed she had urgent news about a threat to the young master and insisted on reporting it to him directly.
  • Noble Sword agreed to take Su Yuexian to the young master, while Sikong Jing secretly followed through the corridor.

Ch. 146The Heir of the Yun-Suppressing King

Sikong Jing discovered that the Noble Young Master was the heir apparent of the Yun-Suppressing King and overheard Fan Zhong seeking help over the Brocade Sect’s fate. Su Yuexian entered the banquet and suddenly attacked the heir apparent, leaving her sword poised to strike his heart.

  • Sikong Jing recognized the caged Rift-Gold Steel-Fanged Tiger and realized Fan Zhong’s Noble Young Master was the Yun-Suppressing King’s heir apparent.
  • Fan Zhong presented the demon beast to the heir apparent and asked who had issued the imperial decree that sent Brocade Sect members to their deaths.
  • The heir apparent warned Fan Zhong that the answer could not yet be revealed, then questioned why he wanted to know.
  • Noble Sword brought Su Yuexian before the heir apparent, who learned she had failed her mission to assassinate Su Zhenglong’s family.
  • Su Yuexian claimed she was the person planning to assassinate the heir apparent and lunged at him with a sword aimed at his heart.

Ch. 147Low Character, Useless Scum

Sikong Jing watched as Yan Ao and He He seized Su Yuexian after her failed assassination, threatening her family and intending to abuse her. He intervened in the garden, revealed his connection to He He's father, and killed He He with the Ultimate Shadow Killing Blade.

  • He He stopped Su Yuexian's assassination attempt and subdued her, while Yan Ao ordered her killed before letting He He take her instead.
  • Yan Ao threatened to kill Su Yuexian's family, and He He dragged her from the hall as she pleaded and struggled.

  • Yan Ao questioned Fan Zhong about the Great Shang Imperial Decree and the Brocade Sect, but Sikong Jing interrupted by alluding to Fan Zhong’s actions beneath Yanyun City.
  • Sikong Jing entered the hall and told Yan Ao that Fan Zhong had let him in, then introduced himself as the Su Clan of Yunye City’s son-in-law.
  • Sikong Jing revealed that the female assassin was Su Yuexian, his sister-in-law, removed her veil, and announced that Fan Zhong would protect them.
  • Sikong Jing disclosed that He He was dead, leaving Yan Ao, Fan Zhong, and the others stunned.

Ch. 149Come With Me, I'll Slaughter His Entire Clan

Sikong Jing forced Fan Zhong to protect him and Su Yuexian by revealing that survivors of the Dark Dragon Mountains included a Sui Clan member and that Sikong Jing had saved the Brocade Sect. Yan Ao set out to slaughter the Su Clan, while Sikong Jing warned Fan Zhong that the clan’s safety was tied to his own before heading to the Su family’s courtyard.

  • Yan Ao recognized Sikong Jing as the Su Clan son-in-law who had killed He He and accused him of coming to kill him.
  • Sikong Jing reminded Fan Zhong that everyone had survived the Dark Dragon Mountains, then revealed that one survivor was surnamed Sui, prompting Fan Zhong to defend him.
  • Fan Zhong swept Sikong Jing and Su Yuexian away from Yan Ao’s estate and fled with them toward the Yun Province War Office.
  • Yan Ao stopped Noble Sword from pursuing Fan Zhong and led his guards toward the Yunye City delegation’s residence, vowing to slaughter the Su Clan.

  • Fan Zhong decided to protect the Su Clan and rushed to their residence with troops.
  • Yan Ao arrived at the courtyard and ignored the Su family's questions about Su Yuexian.
