Gong Ying discovered that several of the twenty Eastern Tyrant geniuses sent to attack the Yao Residence had died, while Yao Yulou claimed the Yao Residence was responsible. As more life lamps shattered, Gong Ying ordered Gong Yi to warn the survivors to flee.
Sikong Jing led the Yao Residence party in slaughtering the factions that had refused to leave, while their life lamps shattered in a growing wave across the border. The chapter ended with Gong Yi confirming that Sikong Jing was responsible, as his halberd radiance rose over Chaos District One.
Gong Yi’s letter confirmed that Sikong Jing and Yao Residence’s hundred people had attacked Dongba’s forces, sparking fury among the factions gathered outside Chaos District One. Sikong Jing ended the group formation and sent Yao Residence’s fighters to hunt the fleeing enemies individually, while secretly tracking them to protect them.
Sikong Jing secretly controlled the battlefield while rescuing Yao Residence guards and teaching them techniques suited to their beast bloodlines. After the guards made major breakthroughs, Zhang Duiyin and the others learned he had created their techniques himself and asked him to create techniques for them too.
Sikong Jing taught Hua Meixi, Yang Yi, and the others the Overlord Soul Hundred-Man Army-Slaying Formation before leading the Yao Residence guards toward Chaos District One. They encountered a strange old woman with twisted legs, and Sikong Jing asked why she was there as the chapter ended.
Sikong Jing carried a disabled old woman out of Chaos District One after she revealed that Tie Ti'er had been misled by a man from the Eastern Tyrant Branch into believing Sikong Jing was dying. The old woman could not remember which way they went, leaving Sikong Jing searching for Tie Ti'er and the man.
Sikong Jing left Yang Yi’s group to search for Tie Ti'er, while the old woman revealed that she was a powerful, scheming figure connected to the old man who chose Sikong Jing as a successor. She tried to delay Sikong Jing with illusion mist, but he passed through it with help from his little demonic beasts and sense of smell, leaving her bewildered.
The old crone repeatedly tried to trap Sikong Jing in illusions, but he detected and bypassed them. She then arranged for him to see Tie Ti'er being deceived by an Eastern Tyrant man, who claimed Sikong Jing and the Yao Residence had been killed and demanded imperial artifacts; the old crone watched, enraged by the man's scheme.
Tie Ti'er learned that Si Kong Jing was alive when he arrived, but an unseen formation barrier separated them. The Eastern Tyrant man held Tie Ti'er hostage while Si Kong Jing examined the barrier, unaware that the old crone had arranged it to test their distress.
Sikong Jing broke the old woman’s formation barrier by destroying its tools with demonic blood, then rescued Tie Ti'er from the Dongba man. After learning the people of the Yao Residence were safe, Tie Ti'er broke down in relieved tears while Sikong Jing stood quietly beside her.
An old woman secretly gave the Dongba man a temporary ninth-grade battle body and peak Heavenly King Realm cultivation to test Sikong Jing. Sikong Jing appeared to flee when Tie Ti'er offered to stall the enemy, but returned and fatally stabbed the Dongba man.
Sikong Jing killed the Dongba man after the old woman transformed him into a ninth-grade battle-body genius, then realized someone else had been hindering his rescue of Tie Ti'er. The chapter ended with Sikong Jing and Tie Ti'er returning to investigate the corpse, but the hidden figure had escaped again.
Sikong Jing explained how he had poisoned the hidden powerhouse with beast poison and left with Tie Ti'er, then discovered that the injured old woman was the same person. At the exit of Chaos District One, the gathered factions realized no major power had helped Sikong Jing despite the tens of thousands of shattered life lamps.
After the Yao Residence emerged safely from Chaos District One, survivors revealed that Sikong Jing had used the unprecedented Overlord Soul Hundred-Man Army-Slaying Formation to kill tens of thousands. Sikong Jing returned with Tie Ti'er just before dawn, where powerful factions confronted him with overwhelming killing intent.
Sikong Jing faced the furious factions whose people he had killed, calmly inviting them to make threats while the District-Seizing War rules prevented them from attacking him. Pei Yuzheng then approached with Thousand Kings Holy Tower experts, setting the stage for a confrontation with Sikong Jing.
Pei Yuzheng tried to make Sikong Jing surrender the Overlord Soul Hundred-Man Army-Slaying Formation in exchange for forgiveness and a place in the Thousand Kings Holy Tower. Sikong Jing refused with the same cutting words that reminded Pei Yuzheng of the black-clad youth, leaving Pei Yuzheng enraged.
Sikong Jing dismissed Pei Yuzheng’s attempt to recruit him and revealed that he was the black-clad youth from Ancient City, whose earlier humiliation had left Pei Yuzheng traumatized. Pei Yuzheng collapsed after recognizing the reenacted scene, while the crowd remained confused about what had happened.
Sikong Jing repelled Pei Yuzheng’s attack, but Pei’s demand for his death brought Thousand Kings Holy Tower and other factions into a confrontation over Chaos-Shaking City’s rules. The city’s experts upheld the rules and insisted that Sikong Jing could only be challenged in the District-Seizing War.
Sikong Jing rebuffed Pei Yuzheng’s threats, and Pei Yuzheng withdrew after vowing to settle their score in the Shaking District Battle. Gong Ying then confronted Sikong Jing over the Eastern Tyrant geniuses he had killed, but he promised to defeat the rest as well.
Sikong Jing honored a masked man's bounty for killing the last surviving Eastern Tyrant attacker, worsening the feud with Gong Ying. After refusing Cang Lin's request to fight alongside Ancient Sacred Peak in the Shaking District, Sikong Jing planned with the Yao Residence while Tie Ti'er wondered whether he was the same young man she had seen in Ancient City.
Cang Lin revealed that Sikong Jing was the Black-Clothed Youth, forcing Granny Kui and the others to recognize his importance to Ancient Sacred Peak. As the Shaking District Battle began, Pei Yuzheng placed a bounty on the Yao Residence and demanded that Sikong Jing be captured alive.
Sikong Jing entered Shaking Eight District with the Yao Residence while rival factions plotted to kill him and seize or destroy his formation. The disguised Tyrant Lotus Venerable secretly arranged additional Emperor Martial Stage fighters for the Yao Residence, as Sikong Jing’s group reached the Tyrant Heaven Chamber of Commerce branch and learned an Emperor Martial Stage powerhouse had entered.
Sikong Jing ordered his allies to kill the young participants who sent messages summoning Emperor Martial Stage pursuers. After a passing faction secretly sent a mechanical message bird, Sikong Jing exposed its message and confronted them.
Sikong Jing slaughtered Black Mist Pavilion’s hundred young geniuses and faced their enraged Emperor Martial Stage expert. As the two stood in a tense standoff, three more Emperor Martial Stage experts arrived and demanded to know why the Black Mist Pavilion expert had not killed him.
Sikong Jing drew the four Emperor Martial Stage experts’ attention while Hua Meixi secretly commanded the Yao Residence formation, killing two attackers. With his shield broken and another enemy pursuing him, Sikong Jing called on Captain Yang to act.
