Sikong Jing took command of Willow Leaf City after Old Fat Head’s ambush severely wounded Chang Sanghuang, then revealed that the Qianyuan Holy Demon Hall was backed by the Thousand Kings Holy Tower. Ye Wuyu was killed when she tried to surrender, and as Willow Leaf’s fighters began to panic, Sikong Jing ordered Old Fat Head to blast them.
Sikong Jing forced Willow Leaf Holy Manor to abandon thoughts of surrender and led Willow Leaf City into a desperate defense against the Thousand Kings Holy Tower and Qianyuan Holy Demon Hall. After an hour of fierce fighting, the defenders gathered around Willow Leaf Holy Manor, but the manor’s protective formation shattered.
With the Willow Leaf Grand Formation shattered, Sikong Jing rallied Willow Leaf City by linking its people into the Qianyuan Battle-Killing Formation and unleashed a devastating strike against the Qianyuan Holy Demon Army. He could not repeat the attack, and Pei Yupo continued to demand the formation as the battle remained unresolved.
Bei Cang and West Chart arrived at Willow Leaf City and took command of its army-slaying formations, helping the defenders hold off the Qianyuan Holy Demon Army. Sikong Jing revealed that Murong Jianyun would not arrive for two days, while Reverse Blade City defeated Chang Yonghuang and learned Dark Wing’s identity.
Shi Douxing led the Reverse Blade Sect to reinforce Willow Leaf City, where the defenders continued fighting the Qianyuan Holy Demon Hall. As Murong Jianyun rushed to help them, Fenglei Bao, the Thousand Kings' First Emperor, blocked his path on behalf of the Thousand Kings Holy Tower.
Murong Jianyun fought his way past Fenglei Bao so he could reach Willow Leaf City, but he suffered serious injuries. Pei Yusheng ordered the contingency plan to proceed after the Qianyuan Holy Demon Hall’s operation was exposed, then went to see whether Pei Yupo would survive.
The battle for Willow Leaf City turned in favor of its defenders as Sikong Jing’s formations improved, but Pei Chang moved to kill him on Pei Yupo’s orders. Murong Jianyun arrived as a Saint Martial Stage warrior, revealed that he was injured, and charged Pei Chang while Sikong Jing prepared to finish the fight quickly.
Murong Jianyun’s arrival turned the battle against the Qianyuan Holy Demon Army, but Pei Yupo crushed a jade pendant that summoned Pei Kuang’s spirit puppet to attack Sikong Jing. Murong Jianyun rushed to intercept the terrifying apparition as Sikong Jing ordered a defensive formation.
Pei Yupo sent Pei Kuang's Spirit Puppet after Sikong Jing, who fled toward the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall as Murong Jianyun tried to protect him. The puppet struck Sikong Jing against the wall and shattered his body, leaving Su Yuexi and the people of Willow Leaf City in grief.
After Sikong Jing was apparently shattered to death, the people of Willow Leaf City and Reverse Blade City launched a furious counterattack against the Qianyuan Holy Demon Army. Su Yuexi nearly took her own life, but the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall began to glow with the power of the Duoye Twelve Seals, and Flying Cloud Colorful Butterfly assured her that Sikong Jing would be fine.
Sikong Jing recovered from his apparent death, but the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall suddenly began dragging him inside. Ye Wuzhi was swallowed while trying to rescue him, and Sikong Jing followed, leaving Su Yuexi behind with orders to protect herself.
Sikong Jing was pulled into the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall, where he discovered its dark interior was only a small tree hollow. A mysterious dead man’s spiritual shadow revealed that he had drawn Sikong Jing inside to help decipher the Sacred Wall, using Sikong Jing’s blood as it seeped into the wall.
Sikong Jing and Ye Wuzhi were trapped inside the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall with a mysterious old man who claimed to be the Qianyuan War Emperor. Unable to find a way out, Sikong Jing agreed to study the wall with him while remaining suspicious of his identity and motives; the old man then offered Ye Wuzhi a way to become a top-tier Emperor faster.
Sikong Jing studied the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall’s tree patterns while the war in Willow Leaf City ended with Pei Chang and the other culprits escaping. The survivors mourned Sikong Jing’s apparent death, but Su Yuexi insisted he was alive inside the sacred wall, and Leng Sha and Bai Xiaojin arrived in tears.
After Sikong Jing vanished into the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall, Su Yuexi insisted he was alive, though his family and allies thought grief had driven her mad. Murong Jianyun confirmed Sikong Jing’s fate lamp still burned, and Su Yuexi then decided to tell everyone he was dead to protect him until he returned.
Murong Jianyun concealed Sikong Jing’s survival with a shattered fake life lamp and helped Su Yuexi maintain the story that she had gone mad. Outside Willow Leaf City, Fenglei Bao ordered Pei Yupo and Pei Chang to return to the city in disguise as part of a remedial plan.
Fenglei Bao urged Pei Yupo to claim Willow Leaf City’s victory under the Thousand Kings Holy Tower’s name and arrange Murong Jianyun’s public execution. Meanwhile, Sikong Jing continued deciphering the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall until he had mastered all its tree patterns.
Sikong Jing mastered the old man's knowledge of the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall's first seventy-nine challenges, then discovered the old man had deliberately trapped him when he tried to leave. The old man refused to release him, leaving Sikong Jing trapped before the unfinished eightieth challenge.
Sikong Jing and Ye Wuzhi learned that the old man planned to enslave Sikong Jing and had prepared a peak Emperor Realm corpse puppet to stop them. The old man revealed that the puppet was the Qianyuan War Emperor and explained how he had controlled him before the War Emperor rebelled.
Gan Wumie revealed his plan to use the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall to revive himself and ordered the Qianyuan War Puppet to kill Ye Wuzhi. Sikong Jing rescued Ye Wuzhi by moving through the Sacred Wall’s tree patterns, but Gan Wumie pursued him and blocked the exit with a sacred artifact.
Sikong Jing escaped Gan Wumie's attempt to invade his Spirit Platform, but broke away to save Ye Wuzhi from the Qianyuan War Puppet. He fled through the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall with Ye Wuzhi as Gan Wumie pursued them, leaving their escape unresolved.
Sikong Jing and Ye Wuzhi fled deeper into the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall while trying to grow stronger, as Willow Leaf City struggled to recover from the battle. The Thousand Kings Holy Tower arrived at Willow Leaf Holy Manor, leaving Murong Jianyun and Bei Cang to suspect a new threat beyond simply protecting the defeated Qianyuan Holy Demon Hall.
Pei Yupo arrived at Willow Leaf Holy Manor and denied that he had impersonated the Thousand Kings Holy Tower’s young master during the attack on Willow Leaf City. He then offered to protect the manor if Ye Wucan made it a vassal force, leaving Ye Wucan and the hidden observers facing the threat of the manor’s betrayal.
Pei Yupo persuaded Ye Wucan to pledge the Willow Leaf Holy Manor to the Thousand Kings Holy Tower, claiming the tower would protect it and help repel Dragon Controlling Mountain. As Murong Jianyun’s group prepared to leave, Pei Yupo proposed a marriage alliance to strengthen their new bond.
Pei Yupo demanded that Willow Leaf Holy Manor surrender and give him Ye Yuexi as a concubine, while Pei Chang threatened Willow Leaf City to keep Murong Jianyun from taking her away. Su Yuexi refused Old Fat Head’s offer to escape, choosing to stay and protect Murong Jianyun’s group until Sikong Jing or reinforcements arrived.
