Su Yuexi provoked Nan Hedun and his companions by praising the Overlord Soul inheritor until Sikong Jing appeared. Sikong Jing punished the three for threatening her, then teased Su Yuexi about admiring him.
Sikong Jing refrained from killing Nan Hedun and the others, but Gong Ying arrived and revealed that Ju Dan had brought people from his past to use as hostages. Sikong Jing agreed to follow Gong Ying to the Tyrant Fierce Residence to collect them, despite her threat that Tyrant Fierce Venerable would kill them if he acted rashly.
Gong Ying took Sikong Jing to Tyrant Fierce Residence under guard while Su Yuexi trusted he would return safely. Meanwhile, Qian Ta coerced Xiong Tingting into a mission and learned that Tyrant Fierce Venerable planned to surrender Ba Hun’s living heir to him, prompting him to leave to claim the gift.
Sikong Jing arrived at Tyrant Fierce Residence and reunited with Lang Yisuo and the other captives, only to learn that Ju Dan had used Lang Yisuo as bait to draw him into a trap. Tyrant Fierce Venerable confronted him and began to explain why he had let Sikong approach the hostages.
Sikong Jing entered Tyrant Fierce Residence to save Lang Yisuo and the others, only to discover Tyrant Fierce Venerable had deliberately let him approach so a trap could ensnare him. Tyrant Fierce activated the barrier around Sikong Jing and the hostages, leaving them surrounded.
Sikong Jing rescued Lang Yisuo and the others while deducing that Tyrant Fierce Venerable planned to betray the Tyrant Heaven Chamber of Commerce and hand him over to the Thousand Kings Holy Tower. As the Thousand Kings Holy Tower's people were due to arrive soon, Sikong Jing used the Space Sacred Key to suppress the Imperial artifacts powering the barrier.
Sikong Jing escaped the blazing-fire barrier by using the Space Sacred Key to suppress its Emperor artifact, leaving Lang Yisuo, Hua Lidian, and the others protected inside. With the Dark Tower master on his way, Sikong Jing decided he had to defeat the Tyrant Fierce Residence himself, then killed Nan Hedun to begin the fight.
Sikong Jing challenged Tyrant Fierce Residence and revealed Venerable-level battle power by defeating Gong Ying with one halberd strike. As Tyrant Fierce Venerable confronted him, Sikong Jing broke through to the fourth realm of Emperor Exit, and the chapter ended with him raising frost shields against a barrage of arrows.
Sikong Jing turned Tyrant Fierce’s arrow barrage against his forces, then used Shadow Moon to assassinate his surviving subordinates. As Tyrant Fierce’s group gathered for protection, Sikong Jing unleashed two hammer attacks on them.
Sikong Jing overwhelmed Gong Ying and the King Realm experts, then broke through to the fifth realm of the Emperor Martial Stage and fought Tyrant Fierce Venerable inside the formation. Gong Ying escaped the formation intending to summon an Army-Slaying Formation and stall until the master of Dark Tower arrived.
Sikong Jing recovered from his wounds, defeated the Tyrant Fierce Venerable’s attempt to trap him, and seized control of the Tyrant Fierce Residence’s troops. After killing Gong Ying and breaking the Blazing Fire Barrier, he rescued Lang Yisuo and the others, leaving the Tyrant Fierce Venerable to flee for now.
Sikong Jing sent Lang Yisuo, Hua Lidian, and the others to safety before returning to face Tyrant Fierce Venerable. Tyrant Fierce Venerable revealed he planned to capture Sikong Jing and gamble on using him to escape Overlord Heaven City.
Sikong Jing drove Tyrant Fierce Venerable from his residence by frightening away his beast mounts, then chased him through Overlord Heaven City. As Qian Ta reconsidered his next move and Murong Jianyun prepared to respond to the danger, the chapter left their actions unresolved.
Murong Jianyun learned that Sikong Jing was pursuing Tyrant Fierce Venerable and trusted him enough to let him handle the matter. After Leng Sha revealed Sikong Jing's plan to protect Xiong Tingting and abandon Pei Xie as a witness, Murong Jianyun ordered Pei Xie taken to the battlements of Overlord Heaven Inner City.
Murong Jianyun arranged for Sikong Jing to kill Pei Xie so the Thousand Kings Holy Tower would focus on Sikong Jing and overlook Xiong Tingting. Sikong Jing forced the Tyrant Fierce Venerable to flee toward Overlord Heaven Inner City, while Qian Ta arrived at the deserted Tyrant Fierce Residence and examined Ju Dan's corpse.
Qian Ta briefly restored Ju Dan’s Spirit Shadow to learn what had happened at Tyrant Fierce Residence, but she vanished before explaining how Sikong Jing escaped the trap. In Overlord Heaven City, Murong Jianyun publicly accused the Thousand Kings Holy Tower of creating the Qianyuan Holy Demon Hall and plunging the world into chaos.
Murong Jianyun publicly accused the Thousand Kings Holy Tower and let Pei Xie speak, while Sikong Jing secretly pursued Tyrant Fierce Venerable through Overlord Heaven City. Pei Xie began by denouncing Murong Jianyun’s account, leaving the crowd stunned.
Sikong Jing publicly attacked Pei Xie after Pei Xie denounced Murong Jianyun, then tortured him while presenting himself as a ruthless enemy of the Thousand Kings Holy Tower. As defectors began condemning the Tyrant Heaven Chamber of Commerce, Murong Jianyun held his ground and the staged expulsion plan remained in motion.
Sikong Jing tortured Pei Xie, restored him, then killed him and let his spirit projection disperse, leaving the crowd confused by his actions. Murong Jianyun ended the chapter by ordering Bei Cang to curse Sikong Jing.
Sikong Jing killed Pei Xie, the witness whose testimony might have implicated the Thousand Kings Holy Tower, and the crowd began turning against the Tyrant Heaven Chamber of Commerce. Murong Jianyun arranged for the Chamber’s leaders to publicly condemn Sikong Jing, leaving onlookers to see them as genuinely devastated and perhaps innocent.
Sikong Jing’s staged killing of Pei Xie turned public opinion in Overlord Heaven City toward the Tyrant Heaven Chamber of Commerce and against the Thousand Kings Holy Tower. Murong Jianyun demanded an explanation, and Sikong Jing defended the killing by invoking the Chamber’s role in protecting Willow Leaf City.
Sikong Jing rallied Willow Leaf City residents and Dragon Controlling Mountain disciples to support his account, but Tyrant Fierce Venerable then accused him of being Su Old Devil’s remnant and causing chaos. As Tyrant Fierce Venerable’s accusations seemed to turn the crowd against Sikong Jing, an unseen attacker pierced his heart with a sword.
Sikong Jing killed Tyrant Fierce Venerable in public, then claimed Tyrant Fierce had colluded with the Thousand Kings Holy Tower and threatened Overlord Heaven City. Murong Jianyun questioned Sikong Jing before the gathered crowd and feigned suspicion, leaving Sikong Jing poised to be branded a devil.
Sikong Jing and Murong Jianyun staged a public break between Sikong Jing and the Tyrant Heaven Chamber of Commerce to protect their struggle against the Thousand Kings Holy Tower. Sikong Jing left Overlord Heaven City, while the onlookers were left confused about what had happened.
Qian Ta realized Sikong Jing had arranged his expulsion to protect the Tyrant Heaven Chamber of Commerce, then pursued him while Murong Jianyun announced an auction of the Qianyuan Battle-Killing Diagram. Qian Ta found Sikong Jing by a lake and confronted him about the plan.
