Sikong Jing activated the Beast Slaughter Array and shattered the Thousand Kings Golden Light Tower’s formation, forcing Pei Kuang to rally troops and order beasts slaughtered across the city. As the battle spread, Qian Ta broke the traitorous pawns’ formation and challenged Sikong Jing to come fight for them.
Sikong Jing split his spirit shadow from his Magic Beast body, urging the Thousand Prison Tower pawns to break free and rescue their families as he fought Pei Kuang. Fu Miaoling’s plea moved the remaining pawns to join the resistance against Qian Ta, leaving all the pawns ready to storm the tower.
Sikong Jing controlled the carriage-pulling monster beast, driving it into demonization and the Saint Martial Stage to hold Qian Ta back while the chess pieces stormed the Thousand Prison Tower. Jiang Wanyou awakened the Fierce Charm Sacred Body, reunited with Yao Yulou, and the chapter ended with Qian Ta attacking the fallen Magic Beast to reach Sikong Jing.
Sikong Jing fought Qian Ta to buy time for the Thousand Prison Tower pawns while Yao Yulou and Jiang Wanyou faced a desperate choice. Jiang Wanyou revealed her awakened Fierce Charm Sacred Body, drawing Pei Kuang’s attention, and Sikong Jing kept Qian Ta from reaching them as the battle continued.
Sikong Jing tried to protect Jiang Wanyou and Yao Yulou from Qian Ta while Pei Kuang’s forces pressed the attack. As Yao Yulou and Jiang Wanyou fled toward the Thousand Prison Tower, Hundred Tower appeared with Yao Yulou’s parents, giving Qian Ta new leverage.
Sikong Jing’s allies fought to protect the Thousand Prison Tower’s chess pieces and their families as enemy forces closed in. Jiang Wanyou persuaded Yao Yulou to devour her so he could gain the power to turn the battle, and he began absorbing her.
Jiang Wanyou sacrificed herself to awaken Yao Yulou’s Fierce Charm Sacred Body, while Sikong Jing broke through to the second major realm of the Saint Martial Stage to stop Pei Kuang from reaching them. Sikong Jing held Pei Kuang back with an empowered Beast Slaughter Array, but his dwindling Pure Spirit Heart left him only two hours to act.
Jiang Wanyou continued to be consumed by Yao Yulou, urging him to break through while Pei Kuang’s forces fought to stop him. She revealed that willingly devouring a Fierce Charm Sacred Body multiplied its power many times over, then vanished into Yao Yulou, leaving him poised to face Pei Kuang and protect Sikong Jing.
Jiang Wanyou’s sacrifice drove Yao Yulou to the peak of the third major realm of Saint Martial, while Sikong Jing found a possible way to preserve her soul through Gan Wumie and the Divine Martial Shadow Pearl. Yao Yulou turned on Qian Ta, who tried to flee into the Thousand Prison Tower, and dragged him back with his blood-red true qi.
Yao Yulou killed Qian Ta and began fighting Madam Raccoon while Sikong Jing guarded the Thousand Prison Tower and tried to restore Jiang Wanyou with the Divine Martial Shadow Pearl. The pearl gathered a faint, mixed spirit-and-flesh form of Jiang Wanyou, but Gan Wumie said the rest of her had dissipated.
Sikong Jing learned that Jiang Wanyou might be resurrected, but her fragile half-spirit, half-flesh body had to be protected, so he hid her in a storage ring before returning to the battle. He reached the upper floors of the Thousand Prison Tower, where he witnessed allies dying and found Fu Miaoling trying to save her younger brother.
Sikong Jing rescued the Fu Clan siblings and led the Thousand Prison Tower pawns in defending their families while fighting the expert guards. In Thousand Kings Holy City, Pei Kuang ordered the slaughter of demon beasts, forcing the crowd to choose sides as Qu Hanming waited for the Golden Light Tower’s formation to fall.
Qu Hanming turned resistance to Pei Kuang’s order into chaos across Thousand Kings Holy City, arguing that Pei Kuang was afraid of losing. Pei Kuang summoned the Six-Clawed Evil Heart Hybrid Beast while Sikong Jing advanced his formation and fought to reach the Thousand Prison Tower, where soldiers broke through and entered.
Sikong Jing gathered the fallen pawns’ bodies and chose to stay behind in the Thousand Prison Tower to draw away Pei Kuang’s forces. He entrusted Fu Miaoling with three items and promised to return before leading everyone atop the tower into the Beast Slaughter Array.
Sikong Jing used Forced Troop Control to seize Thousand Kings soldiers and drive them toward a Heavy Gate while Pei Kuang tried to contain the crisis. Pei Kuang chose not to send someone after him, and Madam Raccoon reported that Yao Yulou had grown to the mid-stage of the third major realm of the Saint Martial Stage.
Sikong Jing and Yao Yulou worked together to break the Golden Light Tower formation and open the Heavy Gate, allowing Sikong Jing to call the city’s demon beasts to attack. The chapter ended with Thousand Kings Holy Tower supporters threatening a little girl who refused to let them kill her demon beast.
Sikong Jing’s beastly summons awakened the demon beasts across Thousand Kings Holy City, turning them against the slaughter ordered by the Thousand Kings Holy Tower. As the beasts rushed toward the Golden Light Tower complex, Qu Hanming’s growing resistance remained confident that Sikong Jing had prepared a way to escape if they could not win.
Sikong Jing broke out of the Thousand Kings Golden Light Tower and led the demonic beasts away from Pei Kuang’s forces after deciding their mission was complete. As the beasts began retreating, Pei Kuang ordered Thousand Kings Holy City’s grand formation to seal in every remaining enemy, anticipating the arrival of the Six-Clawed Evil Heart Hybrid Beast.
Pei Kuang revealed that he had trapped the Thousand Kings Holy City’s enemies beneath golden pillars to use their spirit shadows as the price for summoning the Six-Clawed Evil Heart Hybrid Beast and its hidden rider. The beast arrived, and Pei Kuang offered the trapped people as payment for six Sacred Martial spirit shadows.
Pei Kuang summoned the Six-Clawed Evil Heart Hybrid Beast to destroy Sikong Jing, and its overwhelming aura left the trapped experts despairing as the beast horde began to break free of Sikong Jing’s control. The hybrid beast recognized Sikong Jing as the Lord of Ten Thousand Beasts and rejoiced at the chance to devour him and escape its prison.
Sikong Jing devoured the energy he had stored during the battle and reached the peak of Saint Martial, then tore the six-clawed hybrid beast apart in front of the Thousand Kings forces. Ba Zhun tried to flee, but Sikong Jing called after him.
Sikong Jing destroyed Ba Zhun’s body and spirit shadow, then vanished after reaching the Divine Martial Stage as the Pure Spirit Heart neared shattering. Pei Kuang survived and concluded that Sikong Jing had fled to fight the demonic madness threatening to consume him.
Sikong Jing’s departure seemed to leave Pei Kuang with the advantage, but Sikong Jing returned through the Wind Thunder Roaring Beast to rebuild the Beast Slaughter Array. He drove the beast into deeper demonic corruption and continued the breakout battle, though his own beast-form spirit shadow was also at risk.
Sikong Jing freed the Thousand Kings opponents and demon beasts from Thousand Kings Holy City, then fought Pei Kuang with the beasts that remained. He lured Pei Kuang into the city’s grand formation, which blasted apart the Wind Thunder Roaring Beast, leaving everyone believing Sikong Jing had died.
Sikong Jing escaped the Thousand Kings Holy City after helping Yao Yulou’s group flee, while Pei Kuang remained unsure whether he had survived. Now back at the peak of the Saint Martial Stage but still consumed by demonic energy, Sikong Jing decided to seek the Desolate Sea Absolute Formation to keep himself lucid.
