Su Li set down his spoon, took it, and opened it.
Written in the booklet were:
Today's lunch: three basins of pork ribs. Saina had a large appetite and was possessive of her food.
Elena demanded higher-grade black tea, was picky about porcelain, and disliked Elonore for being clumsy and rough-handed.
Su Li drank two extra cups of tea and took a nap in the courtyard at two in the afternoon.
It even recorded who went to the toilet and when.
Saina happened to come out carrying a plate. One glance at it, and her hackles rose.
"They even wrote this down?!" Saina snatched the booklet away. "What the hell business is it of theirs how many basins of ribs I eat?! Drag that maid in here—I'll reason with her using my battle axe!"
"Wait." Su Li reached out and took the booklet back. "Where is she?"
"She's kneeling outside. The old butler is watching her," Elonore said quietly.
Su Li tucked the booklet into his pocket. "Tomorrow morning, I'll go have a chat with them."
Early the next morning, Livia arrived on time with her people to deliver the high-tier weapon that needed repairing.
The weapon had not even been brought out yet.
Su Li directly tossed that little booklet onto the stone table.
"Your Highness, is this some fine royal tradition of yours?" Su Li tapped the table.
Livia's expression changed after just one glance at the booklet's cover.
It was the standard notebook used by the Intelligence Division's undercover agents.
The maid dropped to her knees with a thud, trembling all over.
Livia did not offer a single word of defense. She turned to look at the maid.
"Take her away." Livia's voice was icy. "Send her to the black cells. Cripple the hand she writes with."
