The God King of Asura fell silent.
His mind raced. Although Tang San's inheritance of the divine position had been obstructed, as long as he retained his authority to enforce the law, there would be plenty of chances to help Tang San turn things around once he became a god. No matter how strong Shen Lian was, he was ultimately a mortal who had yet to become a god. With him backing Tang San after his ascension, victory was not impossible.

"I agree."

As though seeing through his thoughts, the God King of Destruction said blandly:
"Don't think about playing tricks. I've already sent word to Goddess of Goodness and God of Evil. Every move you make is under our watch."
The God King of Asura gave a cold snort, turned into a streak of golden-red light, and vanished into the sea of clouds.
He left in such a hurry that he did not even have time to repair the cracks in the divine temple plaza.
