Shen Lian conquered Heaven Dou, Spirit Hall, the Clear Sky Sect, and Star Luo with the Sun-Moon Empire’s forces, then crushed a resistance trap. After learning his Ninth Trial required him to unify the Far North and the small continents at sea, he prepared to travel north.

• Shen Lian led the Sun-Moon Royal Soul Master Legion to seize Heaven Dou City, defeating Tang Xiao and the Clear Sky Sect elders while Xue Ye died and Qian Renxue escaped to rebuild Heaven Dou.
• Shen Lian destroyed Spirit City, killed Bibi Dong and the other defending Title Douluo, and left Qian Renxue to continue the Angel God Trial.
• Shen Lian and the Breaking Clan attacked the Clear Sky Sect, where Yu Yuanzhen died and the Asura God rescued Tang San before the sect’s remaining forces were captured or killed.
• Shen Lian’s army surrounded Star Luo City and defeated its forces, then killed Dai Hao, the Star Luo Empress, Zhu Lingtian, and Madam Zhu as the city fell.
• Shen Lian subdued kingdoms and arranged a false offer of captured Soul Guidance Cannons to lure resistance forces into an ambush, where Xu Peng’s troops killed more than ten thousand Soul Masters.
• Shen Lian ordered the families and forces connected to the ambushed Soul Masters wiped out, then decided to travel to the Far North after learning the requirements of his Ninth Trial.
• A week later, Shen Lian brought Zhu Zhuqing, Liu Yuxi, Ning Rongrong, and Xu Chengye to the City of Light’s Imperial Palace square.

Shen Lian brought the Far North under his authority, then crossed the sea with his companions, defeated pirates, and reached Pirate Continent. After making Sea Tiger a vassal ruler, Shen Lian learned of his planned betrayal and turned to Luo Qing and the Resisters to overthrow him.

• Shen Lian defeated the Snow Empress and Ice Empress’s resistance, and they submitted the Far North to him while the Snow Empress accepted the Ice God’s inheritance and joined his company.
• Shen Lian sailed with his companions, fought Hai Dongqing’s pirates, and helped Zhu Zhuqing absorb the Deep Sea Demonic Whale Emperor’s six-hundred-thousand-year Spirit Ring.
• Shen Lian destroyed the pirates’ base at Black Reef Bay, found a map to Pirate Continent, and later arrived there with his companions.
• Shen Lian learned that Sea Tiger ruled Pirate Continent and offered to make him a vassal king of the Sun-Moon Empire in exchange for eliminating Sea Dragon.
• Shen Lian discovered Luo Qing’s resistance movement, but first accepted Sea Tiger’s agreement to make Pirate Continent a vassal kingdom and ordered the pirates to stop raiding and abducting people.
• Sea Tiger plotted to ambush Shen Lian’s group with nine Title Douluo while they fought Sea Dragon, and Luo Qing overheard the plan.
• Luo Qing warned Shen Lian, who abandoned his plan to support Sea Tiger and ordered Luo Qing to rally the Resisters to seize Tiger King City and the other four cities.

Shen Lian conquered the pirate stronghold and Soul Beast Continent, inherited the Destruction God Position, and returned to defeat Tang San with Gu Yuena. After the God King of Asura escaped with Tang San’s corpse, Shen Lian merged the continents and began replacing imperial rule with a federal system.

• Shen Lian and Snow Empress defeated Sea Tiger and the pirate leaders, while Luo Qing took control of Tiger King City and became the Marquis of the Distant Sea.
• Shen Lian killed the Magic Illusion Seagull, secured the submission of Soul Beast Continent, completed his ninth trial, and inherited the Destruction God Position.
• After more than a year absorbing the Godhead, Shen Lian returned to Douluo Continent and moved the Distant Sea Continent closer to it.
• Shen Lian confronted Tang San after he inherited the Asura and Rakshasa God Positions, and their battle ranged from the Capital of Slaughter to Star Dou Great Forest.
• Gu Yuena joined Shen Lian against Tang San, and she killed him, but the God King of Asura arrived and escaped with Tang San’s corpse and the Asura Demon Sword.
• Shen Lian merged the Sun-Moon Continent and Douluo Continent, created the New Capital of Slaughter, and arranged for his companions and relatives to inherit divine seats.
• Shen Lian proposed a Federal Council to govern the merged continent, and the Sun-Moon Federation Basic Law established fifteen autonomous states and ended imperial rule.
