Just as everyone's nerves were stretched to the breaking point.

"Rumble!!!"

In the southern district, the rooftop of a six-story hotel that had been mostly intact suddenly exploded as if hit by a giant bomb.

Bricks and concrete sprayed in every direction like a downpour, while billowing clouds of dust surged into the sky.

Amid the swirling dust and smoke, a massive figure slowly straightened, its presence so overwhelming it was suffocating.

It was the Leader Rank Abyss Beast that ruled the Small Nest, the Black Flame Abyss Tiger.

Its enormous body seemed forged from a mixture of obsidian and molten rock, covered in thick, savage bone armor. A searing dark-red glow flowed through the gaps in its armor, as though lava churned within it.

Slightly behind the terrifying beast on either side, two equally savage figures emerged from the dust.

On the left was a Shadow Claw Demon Hunter. It resembled a giant wolf standing upright, but its arms had transformed into two enormous bone blades gleaming with dark energy, sharp enough to cleave metal and jade. Faint Black Mist swirled around its body, making its form flicker in and out of sight as it radiated an aura of utter peril.

On the right was a Spine-Piercing Abyss Ape. It crouched on the ground, a hybrid of a giant scorpion and a ferocious ape. A row of sharp, spear-like spikes jutted from its back, gleaming with deadly light. Its fearsome tail, covered in barbs and ending in a heavy bone club, whipped about constantly, cracking the air with each swing.

The combined pressure radiating from the three monsters swept across the entire battlefield like a tangible tsunami. Many soldiers choked on their breath, nearly losing their grip on their weapons.

The Black Flame Abyss Tiger raised its terrifying head.
