After returning to Blue Star seven thousand years in the past, Lin Yi used the Ancient Jade’s Spirit Enlightenment Qi to prepare for the Civilization Promotion Assessment. When Abyss Beasts attacked during his admission banquet, he protected his family and friends, learned to wield Source Energy, and began fighting back.

• Lin Yi awoke with memories of his past life and realized he had returned to Blue Star a week before the Civilization Promotion Assessment, then decided to hide his unusual knowledge and present himself as a gifted youth.
• Lin Yi discovered that the Ancient Jade had returned intact and produced one wisp of Spirit Enlightenment Qi each day, then celebrated his university admission with his family and friends while wearing armor Chen Yu had commissioned.
• Xu Chen began Blue Star’s assessment by enveloping the planet in an Abyssal Realm projection, freezing its inhabitants as Abyss Beasts emerged and attacked.
• Lin Yi rescued Zhou Mengmeng and others from the restaurant corridors, killed two Corrosive Abyssal Wolves, and brought their Spirit Radiance Crystals back to the barricaded banquet hall.
• Lin Yi used a crystal to learn the Basic Source Energy Guidance Technique, cultivated Source Energy, and demonstrated how it strengthened his body and could be used to attack.

Lin Yi turned Hongfu Restaurant into a fortified shelter, rescued nearby survivors, and gained the General Staff’s support after defeating a Giant Rock Abyss Bear. With the outpost organized and a route to the Helu City Gathering Point planned, he set out to coordinate the survivors’ evacuation.

• Lin Yi published a Source Energy tutorial through Chen Yu, and the video spread widely enough to influence civilian and military responses as Li Zhenguo launched the nationwide Kindling operation.
• Lin Yi organized Hongfu Restaurant’s defenses and supplies, then decided to scout the route to the Old Department Store Gathering Point and warn the authorities about the expanding Nests.
• Lin Yi rescued students trapped in a bus and other survivors near the convenience store, then brought them back to Hongfu Restaurant as the nearby Nest’s activity intensified.
• Tianpeng delivered Lin Yi an appointment as a special technical adviser and crystals from the General Staff, including Annihilation Strike, armor, and a spear.
• Lin Yi killed the Giant Rock Abyss Bear and drove off its pack of Abyss Wolves, then recovered a crystal containing a Sentry Mechanical Dog for the outpost.

Lin Yi reached Helu City, rescued the Hongfu Restaurant survivors, and broke through to Stardust Rank while helping the military prepare to destroy Nightmare Pupil. The operation triggered a massive beast tide and revealed four Leader Rank threats, leaving Nie Chang weighing whether to retreat or fight.

• Lin Yi reached Helu City, identified himself at the checkpoint, and joined Zhang Weidong’s command post, where he arranged a convoy to evacuate Hongfu Restaurant’s 427 survivors.
• When Giant Rock Abyss Bears and Abyss Wolves attacked the rescue convoy, Lin Yi destroyed one bear and more than thirty wolves with Annihilation Strike, then warned the officers about the dangers of destroying Nests.
• Lin Yi returned to the settlement, reassured his parents, gave Chen Yu Source Energy crystals and a Frost emitter, and continued rescuing survivors while training toward Stardust Rank.
• Lin Yi reached Stardust Rank, demonstrated his techniques for the military, and offered to simplify them for wider teaching as the Supreme Command launched Operation Dawn.

• Lin Yi held the line against the Abyss Tide and destroyed the Black Flame Abyss Tiger and its guards with a metal bearing ball, allowing the troops to neutralize Nest No. 3.
