Richest Man in the Lighthouse: "Come to think of it, if Ash Ketchum didn't start over with only one Pikachu every time he arrived in a new region, he probably would've won the championship long ago."
Richest Man in the Lighthouse: "But in a sense, being able to make it to the top eight, top four, or even runner-up every time he started over was a skill in itself."
When Ash Ketchum started over, he really started over. Not only did he barely mature himself, but even Pikachu's level seemed to regress, to the point where it could lose to Pokemon from Newbie Village.
In that regard, he really hadn't taken much advantage over anyone else.
Yet every time he debuted in a new region with Pokemon he had only recently caught, he could still achieve results like top eight, top four, or runner-up. That was genuinely impressive.
If he had brought along his original team, then after traveling for so long, he probably would have become champion ages ago.
Ordinary Group Owner: "What are you talking about? What are you talking about?"
Ordinary Group Owner: "My Ash Ketchum went from debuting to becoming champion in less than a year, okay? doge.jpg"
Su Yunqing laughed when she saw Tony's words and sent a doge image as well.
Ever since they had discussed the Pokemon World timeline last time, they had suddenly realized that Ash Ketchum, whom they had always teased as "Little Moron," had actually won the championship just one year after debuting—and it had been the World Coronation Series championship.
That was no worse than Red from the parallel timeline, perhaps even stronger. doge.jpg
Why call him Ash Ketchum? Call him Lord Ash!
