When did that happen? How had he not heard a single thing about it?

Rubber or Nika, neither had anything to do with him.

Bai Xuan interrupted Yang Lu before he could continue, pointing at the two people lying in the distance.
He had checked them earlier. Their injuries weren't serious; their heads had merely struck something when they hit the ground, knocking them unconscious.
