We are living,
in a flourishing age.
Look at our nation's strength and prosperity!
Looking back,
from 2000 to now,
twenty-one years have rushed by.
Like fleeting clouds,
they vanished in a blink,
as if
it were only yesterday.
Looking back over them,
SARS,
earthquakes,
mudslides,
all the way to COVID-19 in 2020.
Over these twenty years,
we,
have been through so much!
Over these twenty years,
we,
have gained even more!
From
the beginning of the twenty-first century,
when our country joined the World Trade Organization,
it marked
the arrival of an era that belongs to China!
In 2000,
we won the bid to host the Olympics.
In 2008,
we successfully hosted the Olympics.
The 2012 World Expo,
and in 2021, China leading the world,
having become a major engine of the global economy.
From Dongfanghong,
to Shenzhou 5,
then Long March 5,
and now Tianhe.
China Aerospace
has nearly completed
the "Three-Step" program.
There's even more
to come!
China can do more than reach the skies;
it can explore the depths of the sea.
Jiaolong
has repeatedly broken
China's record for deepest dives.
And now,
China,
from manufacturing,
to intelligent manufacturing,
and now to innovation!
As Chinese people,
we should be
immensely proud!
Fortunate to be born in Huaxia in this life;
in the next, I'll be Chinese again!
We must understand:
some things know no borders,
some things do have borders,
and what belongs only to China
must not be meddled with by anyone.
The one I love most—
my motherland.
Let's work hard together,
and in the future,
keep working hard!
