The flowers bloomed,

New shoots sprouted again,

Another year, and spring turned warm;

The wind blew,

Grass grew, orioles flew,

Lotus leaves rippled across the clear lake;

Mist spread,

The years held promise;

The long years were so sweet.

May you and I be safe and sound year after year;

You have me,

Looking back on yesterday,

Youth's bewilderment seemed like last night;

I have you,

Three lifetimes blessed,

Having you is enough—what more could I ask?

Twin wings in flight,

Together for all eternity,

Staying by each other's side, remembering each other always;

May we be happy together every day.
