Ye Chen's eyes crinkled with a smile as he kissed Xiaobao on the forehead. His eyes full of affection, he said, "Such a good boy. Daddy missed you too."
When Dabao and Erbao saw Ye Chen, they happily rolled over and crawled toward him. They stood up on the bed, hugged his legs, and looked up at him with their little faces, calling in their sweet baby voices, "Daddy~ Daddy~ We missed you~~"
Ye Chen's heart melted. He put Xiaobao back on the bed, then spread his arms and gathered Dabao and Erbao into a hug as well.
Li Mei hurried over and put a diaper and pants on Xiaobao.
Dabao and Erbao happily kissed Ye Chen on the cheeks, one on each side.
Ye Chen grinned from ear to ear, happier than he could have imagined.
"You missed Mommy, didn't you? Wash your faces, and Daddy will take you to see her." Smiling, Ye Chen placed all three babies in the stroller.

Xiaobao grabbed one corner of the towel, looking unhappy and reluctant to wash his face.

"Be a good boy and let me clean your face, then we can go see Mommy." Ye Chen moved Xiaobao's hand aside and washed him until he smelled fresh and clean.
