Chapter Summaries

Wu Ling returned to Chaldea with Mash and Ritsuka, helped locate Goetia, and prepared to face him alone using Solomon’s ring and his own strength. After half a day of tense preparation, Chaldea began the final battle.

• Wu Ling, Mash, and Ritsuka returned to Chaldea, where Romani sent Mash and Ritsuka to rest and took Wu Ling to continue their plan.
• Wu Ling resummoned Nursery Rhyme and Andersen, and Andersen blessed Wu Ling’s story before Wu Ling gave Chaldea Goetia’s magical energy signature for analysis.
• Chaldea’s Spiritron Calculation Device determined Goetia’s location, and Romani ordered the staff to rest before the final battle.
• Wu Ling carried one of Solomon’s rings and resolved to fight Goetia himself, partly to keep Ritsuka from risking her life.

Wu Ling confronted Goetia alone in the Grand Temple of Time after Goetia isolated him from Chaldea. Their fight ended with Goetia claiming he could not die, but Wu Ling revealed Romani’s golden ring and left Goetia startled.

• Goetia suppressed the Seventy-Two Demon Gods and recognized Wu Ling as a Savior from beyond the world.

Wu Ling fought Goetia and revealed that he had brought Solomon’s ring so he could summon the true King Solomon. Solomon activated his farewell Noble Phantasm to destroy the Seventy-Two Demon Gods, while Goetia despaired that his changes had not altered the outcome.

• Goetia attacked Wu Ling after seeing Solomon’s ring, but Wu Ling dodged his Magic Bullets and cut through his beam with King Hassan’s Noble Phantasm.
• Wu Ling wounded Goetia with his greatsword, but Goetia healed instantly and dismissed the ring as useless without Solomon.

Wu Ling defeated Goetia as Solomon’s sacrifice stripped the Beast of his power, then confronted Romani and was summoned by Alaya. The chapter ended with Alaya saying she had called Wu Ling to tell him the truth.

• As Solomon’s Noble Phantasm erased his existence, Goetia lost his immortality and power while the Grand Temple of Time crumbled.

Alaya explained how Goetia had returned as a Beast and how Wu Ling had been sent to stop it. When Alaya demanded that Wu Ling either stay or surrender his connection to the Seat of Heroes, he revealed a transformed Throne of Heroes and signs of a new power.

• Alaya recounted that Goetia had regained its Beast information with the Beast of Sodom’s help and had defeated Chaldeas from parallel worlds.
• Alaya explained that the Great Root had selected Wu Ling and that Tiamat’s Authority of Return had brought him to this world.

Wu Ling became Beast II Variant, the Beast of Defection, after fusing portions of Tiamat’s Authority of Return and Goetia’s Authority of pity. He broke free of Alaya’s prison and unleashed his Nega Possible ability in Chaldea.

• Wu Ling explained that he had fused parts of Tiamat’s Authority of Return and Goetia’s Authority of pity to prepare for Alaya’s betrayal.
• Wu Ling revealed that he considered himself the only human and had no reason to accept Alaya’s demands now that he stood atop the world.
• Wu Ling transformed into a mature Beast and gave Alaya one last chance to let him leave, but Alaya refused.

Wu Ling revealed that his [Anti-Possibility] could erase parallel worlds as he searched for Main Chaldea, alarming Alaya and Gaia. They considered the danger of his power and the threats that could follow if only one world remained, then decided to keep watching as he began to act.

Wu Ling destroyed parallel worlds while searching for the main world, briefly encountering Sodom's Beast and Arthur Pendragon before stumbling into a manga world where Gudako and Gudao harassed him. After escaping them, he finally found the main world.

Fujimaru Ritsuka, Mash, and Kadoc discovered Subject E at the heart of the Singularity as Moriarty unexpectedly recovered under a new contract with the Counter Force. Wu Ling appeared, destroyed Subject E, and introduced himself as the Heroic King and a Beast.

• Moriarty showed Fujimaru Ritsuka, Mash, and Kadoc Subject E, the life-form at the center of the Singularity.
• Moriarty recovered after his Alien God contract was severed and the Counter Force contracted with him.
• Da Vinci-chan and Gordolf warned the group that a powerful Spirit Origin, possibly a Beast, was approaching.

Wu Ling forced Fujimaru Ritsuka and her allies to accept a nine-versus-nine Holy Grail War, with humanity's history at stake. He also struck a wager with Alaya and Gaia: if he won, they would grant him unrestricted access to the Seat of Heroes and allow his departure.

• Musashi explained that something had drawn her into the world and restored her Spirit Origin, leading Fujimaru Ritsuka’s group to suspect the Counter Force had summoned her.
• Kadoc urged Fujimaru Ritsuka to gather reinforcements and launch a final offensive, though she worried that the plan would not go smoothly.
• Wu Ling watched the group through a screen and concluded that Alaya was acting as another player, sending Servants to counter his own.
• King Hassan (Alaya) appeared behind Wu Ling, but King Hassan (Wu Ling) confronted him and matched his probing strikes.

Wu Ling’s forces defeated King Hassan (A), then split up as Ibuki-douji and Angra Mainyu went to assist elsewhere. Before dawn, Hassan of the Cursed Arm stopped a Hundred Personas clone from assassinating Fujimaru Ritsuka and proved his allegiance by forming a contract with her.

• King Hassan (Wu), Ibuki-douji, and Angra Mainyu killed King Hassan (A) after a long battle, with Angra Mainyu tearing off his own arm to create an opening.
• Wu Ling gave Ibuki-douji Aqua Vitae Vodka and sent her off to fight, then sent Angra Mainyu to help Heracles.
• A Hundred Personas clone approached the sleeping Fujimaru Ritsuka, but Hassan of the Cursed Arm seized and killed him.

Fujimaru Ritsuka’s group sought out the Berserker Hassan of the Cursed Arm had sensed, only to find Heracles and become trapped in a losing battle. Just as Fujimaru Ritsuka prepared to make a desperate choice, Gilgamesh arrived and restrained Heracles with golden chains.

• Kadoc warned that the group needed to leave before enemy Servants found them, and Hassan of the Cursed Arm pointed them toward a Berserker he had sensed.
• Fujimaru Ritsuka chose to seek the Berserker, but the group could not form a contract with him and discovered he was Heracles.
• Heracles overwhelmed Mash Kyrielight and Musashi while Moriarty and Hassan of the Cursed Arm harried him, and the group gradually exhausted seven of his lives.
• Kadoc warned that Heracles still had five lives and that the group was nearly out of stamina, while Fujimaru Ritsuka considered using Command Spells or leaving someone behind.
• Gilgamesh arrived in a golden vessel and bound Heracles with chains, prompting Mash Kyrielight to greet him.

Gilgamesh destroyed Heracles, but his attack on Angra Mainyu instead killed Hassan of the Cursed Arm. Meanwhile, Medea defeated Circe and learned that Gilgamesh had also killed Angra Mainyu, yet she said everything remained within her Master's expectations.

• Gilgamesh bound Heracles with Enkidu and repeatedly attacked him until Heracles returned to the Seat of Heroes.
• Angra Mainyu watched the battle and chose Hassan of the Cursed Arm as his target, but Gilgamesh fired at him first.

Fujimaru Ritsuka's group encountered Artoria as Servants converged on her, and Moriarty and Kadoc discussed the Counter Force's urgency about a looming disaster. After Gilgamesh defeated Lancelot in the sky, Artoria destroyed him with Excalibur, leaving the group more confident about defeating Wu Ling.

• Gilgamesh and Berserker Class Lancelot fought in the sky while Fujimaru Ritsuka's group watched from below.
• Artoria arrived, recognized Mash Kyrielight's shield, and formed a contract with Fujimaru Ritsuka.

Gilgamesh took Fujimaru Ritsuka and the others toward Wu Ling, revealing that the Counter Force had restored him to a far more powerful state. As the group prepared to face the remaining enemy Servants, Gilgamesh destroyed two of them with the Vimana’s magical energy crystal.

• Mash Kyrielight questioned whether Gilgamesh should bypass Wu Ling’s rules, and Gilgamesh revealed that he had his full Heroic Spirit abilities and was observing Wu Ling with Clairvoyance and Sha Naqba Imuru.
• Kadoc advised Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash to prepare contingencies, then reviewed their forces and the three enemy Servants already defeated.
• Da Vinci-chan reported that she had found no records of Wu Ling and suspected the Beast of Rebellion had transformed from a human.

Minamoto no Raikou was killed by Ibuki-douji, who then began fighting Arthur Pendragon, while Wu Ling watched the battles from the Throne. Fujimaru Ritsuka and the others approached, but Karna remained pinned down by Arjuna.

• Minamoto no Raikou unleashed her Noble Phantasm against Ibuki-douji, but Ibuki-douji overwhelmed her and cut her in two.
• Arthur Pendragon appeared and challenged Ibuki-douji, beginning a battle that kept him from pursuing Wu Ling.
• Wu Ling watched from the Throne and decided to have King Hassan deal with the approaching Servants.
• Fujimaru Ritsuka and the others spotted Karna and Arjuna fighting near the Throne.
• Karna tried to leave for his Master, but Arjuna forced him back with a volley of arrows.

Gilgamesh used Clairvoyance to survive King Hassan’s assassination attempt, while Fujimaru Ritsuka led her allies toward Wu Ling. Musashi stayed behind to duel Sasaki Kojiro as Ritsuka’s group reached the throne and faced the Beast of Humanity.

• Gilgamesh foresaw King Hassan’s attack, blocked his beheading with defensive Noble Phantasms, and began fighting him.
• Enkidu swept Fujimaru Ritsuka and her companions off the airship, but they landed safely and Ritsuka ordered them to press on toward Wu Ling.
• Sasaki Kojiro blocked the group, and Musashi chose to stay behind and fight him while Ritsuka led the others onward.
• Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro began their duel as Fujimaru Ritsuka, Kadoc, Moriarty, Mash Kyrielight, and Artoria reached Wu Ling’s throne.

Wu Ling faced Fujimaru Ritsuka and explained that he wanted to leave the world after Alaya tried to keep him bound to it. After Ritsuka chose to fight rather than abandon her bonds and memories, Wu Ling won and departed for the endless worlds beyond.

• Wu Ling welcomed Fujimaru Ritsuka and offered to wait while she gathered information and prepared to challenge him.
• Fujimaru Ritsuka asked why Wu Ling wanted to destroy the world, and he explained that Alaya was preventing him from leaving because he was fused with the world's rules.
