After Vegeta ate the Senzu Bean, his injuries healed instantly, and the energy within him surged wildly.
At that moment, Vegeta felt as though he had been reborn. Delighted, he marveled at the changes in his body.
What did that Kakarot guy give me?
It was just an ordinary-looking bean, but after I ate it, all my injuries healed!
Not only that, I feel like my battle power has increased again.
Was it because I came back from the brink of death and my Saiyan physiology kicked in?
"Huh?" Cui suddenly sensed something was off. He furrowed his brow and studied Vegeta.
Hadn't he been on the verge of death just moments ago?

"Hmph." Vegeta spat and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, then gave a cold laugh.
"What? You still want to keep going?" Cui snorted.
"Hmph, you idiot. Take a good look with your Scouter. What's my battle power now?" A smile spread across Vegeta's face as his energy erupted.
In an instant, Vegeta raised his battle power to 21,000.
"What? How can this be? His battle power is actually about the same as mine!" Cui gaped. "Were you faking it just now?"
"You idiot! You think that's all there is to it?" Vegeta sneered and continued powering up.
"22,000! 23,000!" Cui's eyes widened, and cold sweat poured down his face.
Crack!
The next moment, the Scouter's reading shot off the charts.
Cui was terrified out of his wits, trembling all over.
Vegeta's lips curled upward, his smile growing brighter.
"Your model of Scouter can only detect up to 24,000, right? That means my battle power has reached at least 24,000." Vegeta chuckled.
"Th-this... th-this..." Cui was terrified. He stumbled backward again and again, his face turning deathly pale.
"Let's have another round," Vegeta said with a cold laugh.
"You... If your battle power is this high, why did you act so helpless just now?" Cui asked, baffled.
"Hmph. Figure it out yourself," Vegeta replied with a chuckle.
I'm certainly not going to tell you that I ate this miraculous bean, healed my injuries, and raised my battle power.
As he spoke, Vegeta slowly approached Cui.
"Wait! Vegeta! I've thought of a great idea!" Panicking, Cui hurriedly waved his hands. "How about we work together? I'll help you! I've always resented Lord Frieza... No, I've always hated that Frieza guy! Isn't this a good plan? The two of us can take on Zarbon and Dodoria!"
"Save your cheap tricks, you disgusting piece of trash!" Killing intent appeared in Vegeta's eyes.
"I... I'm not lying," Cui said gravely. "Please believe me, Vegeta!"
As he spoke, Cui secretly gathered energy in his right hand, planning a sneak attack.
"Ah... Lord Frieza, didn't you go to Namek? Why have you come back?" Cui suddenly looked behind Vegeta, putting on an exaggerated expression.
Vegeta jumped in alarm and quickly looked back.
Behind him was the wreckage of the base. Frieza was nowhere to be seen.
Vegeta immediately realized that Cui had tricked him.
"Ha ha ha! You idiot!" Cui burst out laughing, firing the energy in his hand at Vegeta.
Boom!
The blast struck Vegeta with a thunderous roar.
Cui continued firing blasts one after another, as if they cost him nothing, and they all hammered into Vegeta.
"Pant, pant..."
Cui gasped for breath as he looked at the flattened planet and the spot where Vegeta had vanished. He burst into a series of crazed laughs.
"Ha ha ha! You idiot, Vegeta! You got what you deserved!" Cui laughed even more shrilly. "No matter how high your battle power is, you're still no match for me!"
"Hey, had your laugh?" Vegeta's voice suddenly came from behind Cui. "I thought you had some special move, but that was nothing."
"You... When did you dodge?" Cui jumped in fright. His pupils shrank as he turned to look at Vegeta, his voice trembling.
"When your battle power goes up, your speed does too," Vegeta said with a chuckle. "Your performance just now has really angered me! I won't spare you! Unlike you, I won't hold back. I'll kill you without hesitation!"
"Ahhh..."
Trembling with fear, Cui immediately turned and fled. He flew into the sky, escaping toward the spaceship.
"Trying to run?" Vegeta sneered. He quickly gave chase, appearing in front of Cui in an instant and blocking his way.
Cui jumped in fright, his face turning deathly pale.
Thud!
Vegeta's lips curled up as he drove an uppercut into Cui, sending him straight into the sky.
"Hey!"
Vegeta pointed at Cui's body from a distance.
Boom!
Cui's body exploded in midair, bursting into a cloud of blood. He was well and truly dead.
"Spit! Trash!" Vegeta spat, then turned and flew toward the spaceship.
Whoosh!
The spaceship shot into the sky, broke through the atmosphere, and entered the vast reaches of space.
Sitting inside the spaceship, Vegeta fell into thought.
That bean Kakarot gave me really was something.
It'd be great if I could get more of them.
Maybe I could come back from the brink of death and greatly increase my battle power.
Time passed.
Before anyone knew it, more than ten days had gone by.
North King Kai's planet.
Piccolo, Son Gohan, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and the others were training hard there.
Without a doubt, training under ten times Earth's gravity had helped Piccolo and the others grow quickly.
"Not bad. In just one month, all of your strength has improved tremendously!" King Kai said with a pleased smile, nodding in satisfaction.
"That's because King Kai taught us so well." Krillin laughed and rubbed his bald head.
"You sure know how to talk," King Kai said, pleased with Krillin's attitude.
"Ha ha ha, not at all! I'm just telling the truth." Krillin grinned.
Whoosh!
Just then, Sun Wukong used Instant Transmission and appeared beside King Kai in the blink of an eye.
"Goku! You're here?" Krillin exclaimed excitedly.
"Dad!" Son Gohan immediately rushed over.
Sun Wukong stepped forward and picked Son Gohan up, settling him on his shoulders. Then he smiled and waved hello to Krillin and the others.
"Goku's here?"
Yamcha and the others waved to him.
"You're all doing great. Your strength has improved a lot—that's really impressive!" Sun Wukong quietly sensed their auras and found that his friends had all grown much stronger.
Sending them to train with King Kai had definitely been the right choice.
