"Boss, why don't we surrender? The Batman Who Laughs just took down Gotham City Hall a few days ago..."

"Yeah, and he infected Poison Ivy and all those Metahumans, too. Even Superman from neighboring Metropolis fell for the Batman Who Laughs's trick. Nobody knows if he's alive or dead."

The Batwoman Who Laughs's eyes widened as she stared at the man in the cold armor before her.

Her smile remained frozen on her face as she looked at Lynn's features, hidden behind his metal helmet. Clearly, she was shocked.

But in the next instant, she burst into wild laughter.

"Hee-hee-hee... hahahahaha!!

Deathstroke, you damn mercenary! You're still alive—you're still alive..."

Lynn furrowed his brows, gripped his blade in his right hand, and chopped off the crazed Batwoman Who Laughs's head.

Her pale head fell to the ground and rolled, its frozen smile still in place, chilling to behold.

"I need to get out of here, fast."

Looking out at the hazy night beneath the rain, Lynn tightened his grip on his blades.

By combining the Body Flicker Technique with his Electric Current Drive and his superhuman physique,

he became like a ghost, appearing more than ten meters away in an instant.

Cold rain pattered over the ruins.

Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze were both buried beneath chunks of rubble.

"Mr. Freeze, are you okay?"

"Cough, cough... Damn it, I'm hurt all over. My leg's killing me!"

Mr. Freeze glanced at the rubble on top of him, his face downcast.

Was this really the end?

"Get up!"

Black Mask and Two-Face emerged from somewhere and pulled Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze out from under the rubble.

The group staggered away, rain soaking the wounds on their bodies and washing trails of crimson blood down their skin.

Just then,

"Hee-hee-hee... Where do you think you're going?!"

The mad laughter came from behind them, making all four of their scalps prickle.

Harley Quinn turned to look behind her and saw four or five nimble figures charging toward them. Their faces were pale, and they wore the same crazed grins as her.

Her expression changed at once. She raised her pistol and prepared to shoot.

But Laughing Robin had already noticed her move. He struck first, firing a shot into Harley Quinn's right hand.

Harley Quinn cried out in pain and clutched her pale palm, now pierced by a bloody hole.

"Kill them!"

Mr. Freeze kept pulling the trigger of his Freeze Gun, sending several beams of ice toward the Laughing figures ahead.

But a green vine rapidly grew beside his feet and wrapped around him, binding him tight.

Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Black Mask, and the others beside him were also bound fast by enormous green vines.

Harley's eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at the green figure wearing a crazed grin.

"Ivy! How could you..."

Before she could finish, she heard a squelch.

Harley hurriedly turned to look.

Black Mask had just started to use his power when a thick vine pierced through his chest.

The plant absorbed his flesh, quickly turning him into a dried-up corpse.

Next, it pierced Two-Face, who was struggling desperately.

His body hung suspended in midair, his pupils dilated, completely still.
