Within Negary's consciousness, countless thoughts raced, and in an instant, He concluded that there was a conspiracy.

It was the passage left behind by a great existence from another multiverse; the book that recorded information about another multiverse; the transcendent information that Soul Derivation, White Light, and Black Abyss had sought in vain.

And now, Grelrigs was about to open it before their eyes.

Since He knew nothing about that other multiverse, the contents of this book might very well have an unforeseeable effect on Him, bringing enormous danger.

Through the information transmitted by the String of Truth of Progress, Negary knew very clearly that there were still several Road-level existences on the path of progress.

There was no difference in strength between Roadwalkers and Nodewalkers. Whoever stood closer to the Upstreamers depended entirely on their grasp of the primary truth. Nodewalkers had merely obtained related truths and formed them into truths to better comprehend the primary truth.

Thus, Road-level beings were not necessarily inferior to Nodewalkers. Those few Road-level existences of progress perhaps—no, certainly—were blades Grelrigs had hidden away.

Once the Book of Old Days affected Him, those blades would stab into Him.

Perhaps, because the Book of Old Days involved another multiverse, the String of Truth would not undergo violent fluctuations as a result?

That was entirely possible.

But if He left, missing this chance to observe the Book of Old Days, Negary could almost certainly say that He would never have another opportunity to see this book.
