Source Essence

Mokania felt that he had finally completed a decisive transformation.

Under this change, everything about him was becoming increasingly clear.

He had mastered the powers of fate and spacetime, then used calamity to reverse their essence, thereby touching upon the essence of all things—Source Essence.

Source Essence was the origin of all things, the foundation of existence. Thus, invoking it became his current trait—"Existential Collapse."

Yet the power of calamity was insufficient to truly destroy existence. Thus, after things crystallized, they would collapse and then reform. This was the self-restorative nature of existence at work.

And because of this, Mokania could use it to condense new existence puppets.

The nature of this ability made him understand the foundation of his strength—a transformation of power that touched upon the essence of the world.

In this world, the closer something was to essence, the more powerful it was.

Take Naimus, for example. One major reason he was so powerful was that his understanding of all kinds of essential powers far surpassed that of ordinary beings at the same level. His insight ran far too deep.

The Aphorism of Fate he had obtained grew increasingly effective as time passed and as he became stronger.

That kind of strength was difficult for other powers to match.

Whether it was the operation of the world's fundamental rules, Naimus's understanding of fate, or his recent comprehension of the rule of change through the Divine Rank—

All of it was making Naimus stronger and stronger.

Mokania, however, was different. His own understanding was not particularly deep; rather, through a series of "accidents," he had touched upon the power of essence.

The artificial Demons born from transformed human desires inherently possessed powers of the "thought-type," while Demons were incomplete souls, representing the nature of destruction and collapse.
