The rest of Skyward Avenue seemed to pose no difficulty.
Most monsters were basically unable to interfere with Naimus's advance.
And because Naimus was incredibly efficient, he quickly made his way through the avenue.
He then arrived at the entrance to the third section of the Path of Desperation.
The Heaven-Piercing Road.
It was essentially a staircase.
By following those steps, one could ascend into the sky step by step and roam amid the sea of clouds.
Of course, this road was exceptionally dangerous.
The moment one stepped onto it, all kinds of monsters would emerge from the surroundings.
According to ordinary people's experience, they only needed to hold out for around ten minutes to complete their ascension and become Silver Breeds.
"Too fast..." The Shadow Man and Emerson, following far behind Naimus, had long since been stunned numb. Yet they were once again left staring in disbelief.
The standard duration for the Path of Desperation event was seven days.
Many people spent two whole days on Muddy Path.
Then they spent the remaining five days entirely on Skyward Avenue.
They would take several hours for every step, only reaching the entrance to the third section during the final stretch of the seventh day.
Then, based on their own condition, they would judge whether they could endure ten minutes.
If they could not, they would simply wait for time to run out.
But what about Naimus?
From entering the event to arriving at the entrance to the third section, less than a day had passed in total.
He had only rested three or four times along the way, yet he had already reached the third section.
Such efficiency was both astonishing and despair-inducing.
Their initial belief that Naimus lacked endurance had simply been overthinking.
Exhaustion did indeed occur to Naimus.
