Though it was morning, the sky had inexplicably grown several shades darker.
The sun had been obscured, and beneath the overcast clouds, rain came pouring down in a rapid patter.
Under the rain's effects, the earth quickly became damp, then muddy.
Everything seemed to have been coated in a hazy gray-brown layer of mud.
As heaven and earth darkened, everyone's mood changed along with them.

He vaguely sensed a familiar power within the rain.
"Taboo..." Kru frowned as everything around the church became part of the mire.
This rain carried the scent of taboo.
As a result, even the mud outside was now saturated with taboo.

"This just got even harder." Kru finally realized the situation.
At the Earth Church, molding new things from soil was the quickest method.
But now, all this soil had been contaminated by taboo rainwater.
Creating new things from it at a time like this made the difficulty soar.
"I was still one step too slow. From now on, every day I fall behind will make my situation worse."
"Of course, the same goes for everyone else."
"If I fail to complete the task within a certain time, then I probably won't have a chance to obtain the Divinity."
