The Chunin Exams, as the name implied, were an examination for assessing genin and cultivating chunin. Of course, passing the Chunin Exams did not necessarily mean one would become a chunin, nor did failing them mean one would never become a chunin for the rest of one's life.

It was simply a comprehensive assessment used during peacetime to evaluate genin from the many shinobi villages.

After getting the answer he wanted from Ueno Kei, Morino Ibiki headed straight to the site prepared for the first exam. Genin from numerous villages, including Konoha, Sunagakure, and Otogakure, had gathered there.

Meanwhile, after returning home to retrieve some necessary items, Ueno Kei returned to the examination venue. He entered a room and watched the first test of this grand assessment through the surveillance monitors.

Uzumaki Naruto and the others had also arrived at the examination site by then.

The moment Naruto and the others entered the testing area, a figure suddenly pounced over and clung to Sasuke's back.

"Sasuke! I missed you so much!" the newcomer cried excitedly.

Naruto was startled at first, but after recognizing who it was, he gave a soft snort, curled his lip, and turned away.

Sasuke still wore his usual cold expression and showed little reaction. He merely furrowed his brow slightly and said softly, "Ino, get down."

Unlike Sasuke and Naruto, who remained relatively calm, Sakura was already seething with rage. Wearing an extremely displeased expression, she snapped viciously, "Ino-pig! Get off my Sasuke already!" As she spoke, she reached out to pull the newcomer away. The one hanging from Sasuke's back was Yamanaka Ino, Naruto and Sasuke's classmate from the same year!

"Hmph, what business is it of yours, Forehead? I like clinging to Sasuke's back!" Ino snorted and shot back with an equally displeased expression.
