I finished writing last night, then pulled an all-nighter at an internet café. I still hadn't recovered today—my mind was a complete mess.
What comes next with the Chunin Exams is incredibly, incredibly complicated. Thinking about it was giving me a headache... but I still hadn't decided how to portray it, or rather, what kind of outcome to present...
To put it simply.
Black Zetsu and Aizen still hadn't met. Aizen still didn't know Kaguya Otsutsuki's identity, so Obito was still carrying out Madara's plan as the masked man, with Aizen, Nagato, and the others aware of it.
How should Hollow make an appearance during the Chunin Exams?
How could Naruto and Sasuke enter Aizen's field of vision?
There were lots of little details to consider... After all, the original plot had already changed, so the characters' personalities had to change as well.
Naruto definitely wouldn't be as foolish as he was in the original. After all, he had been raised by the living Minato and Kushina...
And then there was how Nawaki could take control of Konoha without spilling a drop of blood.
Aizen wouldn't go on a killing spree either, because... in truth, the Sage of Six Paths was, in a sense, his descendant. That had been decided the moment he met Kaguya...
Later on, that White Snake Sage and the Great Toad Sage from before would gradually emerge as well, along with some hidden characters created by Cang Jian.
That came out a little messy... Anyway... my mind was just this much of a mess right now...
Sigh. I hope everyone could let me think things over properly tonight.
I could probably pad out two chapters, but I'm sure nobody wanted to see chapters like that. I wanted to make the story as logical as possible and
