Under Minato's guidance, the three of them arrived at the edge of Sunagakure.
Through the swirling yellow sand, two figures—one tall and one short—gradually came into view.
Chidong stared intently with eyes as large as doorbells, afraid he might miss a single detail. Little by little, the figures grew clearer.
When Aizen's figure came into focus in Chidong's eyes, excitement immediately spread across his rugged face. He called out respectfully,
"Lord Aizen!"
In the distance, Aizen stood with a faint smile on his lips, looking at Chidong with a calm gaze. He spoke softly.
"It's been a long time, Chidong. Since Minato approved of your preparations, I assume you've done well."
Hearing this, Chidong grew excited and replied in a coarse voice,
"Since it was Lord Aizen's order, Chidong naturally did everything in his power to carry it out. I certainly wouldn't want to disappoint you."
Aizen smiled and nodded.
Then his gaze slowly shifted to Sasori, who had followed them there in silence, and the corner of his mouth curled slightly.
At Aizen's side, Ulquiorra remained impassive, calmly watching Chidong and Sasori, as if lost in thought.
Feeling Aizen's gaze on him, Sasori lifted his head slightly. His young face was expressionless as he looked at Aizen with a calm gaze.
Looking into Aizen's deep eyes, brimming with amusement, Sasori couldn't help thinking,
So this is... Lord Aizen, the one my teacher spoke of? He doesn't seem particularly special...
Seeing Aizen turn his attention to Sasori, Chidong grew a little nervous, afraid that Aizen might be dissatisfied with him.
After hesitating briefly, he nervously explained,
"Lord Aizen, this is Sasori... He's the student I've trained over the past few years..."
"Please forgive his lack of manners. He's completely transformed his body into a puppet, so he looks rather unusual."
