Magneto couldn't help panicking.
A life magnetic field was the unique magnetic field emitted by every living thing, and it represented signs of life. During some disaster rescue operations, special instruments were used to detect life magnetic fields and locate survivors. However, due to technological limitations and a lack of relevant knowledge, these instruments were still somewhat ineffective.
Magneto's control over magnetism was so masterful that, unlike flawed instruments, he could clearly sense the life magnetic fields of living things.
In the past, while using his Magnetic Field, he had seen people's life magnetic fields weaken, then strengthen shortly afterward. But that was only a brief burst of life's desperate effort to survive. It wouldn't last long before quickly fizzling out and burning itself away.
But Dilos, whom he was attacking relentlessly, didn't look like someone making a last-ditch effort to survive. He was genuinely recovering at a steady, visibly increasing pace. What's more, after Dilos had recovered, his life magnetic field continued to grow stronger, as if there were no end to its increase.
It was as though something was replenishing Dilos's energy!
Magneto thought of an explanation that fit what he was seeing, but even so, he couldn't stop attacking. When facing a powerful enemy who had to be defeated, if he had a way to suppress them, he shouldn't hold back. Keeping them pinned down until they were dead was the right thing to do!
Otherwise, the moment his opponent struck back, he'd be in serious trouble.
Although Dilos's life magnetic field was slowly strengthening, he still hadn't broken free of Magneto's relentless assault. That meant Magneto's attacks were still very effective.
Judging by how long Magneto could sustain his Magnetic Field, he could keep up this assault for another twenty minutes or so.
