An elderly man named Ian Boss sat uneasily on a luxurious brown leather sofa.
The bottle of red wine on the coffee table, meant to calm his nerves, had long since been emptied.
Holding an exquisite transparent wineglass with a little red wine still left inside, Ian stared blankly at the pitch-black night beyond the window, lost in thought.

A shrill ringing phone interrupted his thoughts.
"How did it go?" Ian asked as he picked up the receiver, a trace of urgency appearing on his wrinkled, fleshy face.
"Sir, we couldn't find him. It's like he vanished into thin air. Also..."
The hesitant, tense panic in the voice over the receiver gave Ian a bad feeling.
"Also what? Spit it out!" Ian roared.
"Senator Marr and Senator Lishan have both disappeared. Their fates are unknown." Hearing his superior's anger, the voice hurriedly replied, "Even their bodyguards are missing. We can only tell from the large amount of blood left at the scene that quite a few people died..."
