That evening, although Dilos had recovered somewhat, entering the Spirit Snake Wild Dance state seemed to have drained him of too much energy. His appetite had grown as enormous as it had been when he first mutated. The amount of food he ate—enough for twenty people—gave Qin Jiayin a vivid demonstration of what it meant to have a bottomless appetite.
Fortunately, this only happened when Dilos was seriously injured.
After a night's rest, Dilos had completely recovered. And...
Crack, crack, crack! His joints popped like beans frying in a pan, and Dilos felt much more alert than before. He seemed to be brimming with energy, too.
People grew stronger after exercising. By the same logic, Dilos's body had improved as well. But perhaps because the spider serum had increased his physical potential, his strength had risen rather dramatically by the time he recovered the next day. His usual one-armed strength had jumped straight from one ton to three, and he could unleash as much as seven tons in a burst!
That wasn't all. Dilos found that all five of his senses had improved to some degree.
He closed his eyes and opened himself up to his senses. In an instant, everything around him came into sharp focus in his mind.
Dilos found that he could see farther and more clearly, and that he had gained better control over focusing his vision. He could even hear sounds from seventy meters away—twenty meters farther than before. His skin could sense the movement of air to some extent, too. His sense of smell and taste hadn't improved as much as the other three, but they had still gotten a little better.
