Ten years after the Great Soul Arena incident, Qian Renxue and Chen Qi agreed to accompany Ning Rongrong to Shrek Academy, while Tang Hao returned to the Clear Sky Sect and learned that its elders had disappeared. Qian Renxue received permission to travel, and the trio set off for Suotuo City as Tang San’s story began.

• Tang San graduated from Notting Junior Academy and prepared to attend Shrek Academy on Yu Xiaogang’s recommendation.
• Ning Rongrong argued with Qian Renxue about going to Shrek Academy, and Chen Qi persuaded Qian Renxue to accompany her.
• Tang Hao returned to the Clear Sky Sect and learned from Tang Xiao that the elders had vanished after being sent undercover.
• Tang Xiao urged Tang Hao to bring Tang San back to the clan, believing he could avenge the elders, and Tang Hao agreed to speak with him.

Qian Renxue, Chen Qi, and Ning Rongrong arrived at Shrek Academy, where Ning Rongrong enrolled and Qian Renxue instantly defeated Zhao Wuji. Chen Qi then stopped Dai Mubai from flirting with Qian Renxue and crushed his crotch, while Tang San wondered why Chen Qi seemed familiar.

• Qian Renxue and Chen Qi saw Flender's long admissions line and decided to visit him while bringing Ning Rongrong to apply.
• Li Yusong admitted Ning Rongrong after confirming her talent, and she joined Qian Renxue and Chen Qi for Zhao Wuji's test.

Chen Qi and Qian Renxue defended Zhu Zhuqing from Dai Mubai, then took her away from Shrek Academy’s poor dormitory to stay at the Spirit Hall branch in Suotuo City. As they left, Chen Qi gouged out Ma Hongjun’s eyes after he harassed Qian Renxue, while Flender sensed someone familiar passing by but found only the injured Ma Hongjun.

• Dai Mubai passed out from pain, and Oscar carried him to the infirmary while Zhu Zhuqing felt relieved and Qian Renxue promised to protect her.
• Chen Qi, Qian Renxue, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing found the girls’ dormitory deplorable and decided to stay at the Spirit Hall branch in Suotuo City.
• Ning Rongrong complained about Shrek’s dormitory to Oscar, who then met Tang San as he left his dormitory.
• Ma Hongjun harassed Qian Renxue, and Chen Qi pinned him down and gouged out his eyes.
• Flender passed the departing group without recognizing anyone, then found Ma Hongjun injured and carried him to the city clinic.

Qian Renxue and Chen Qi arrived at Shrek Academy with Ning Rongrong, where Flender recognized them and feared they had come to take his money. The chapter ended with Chen Qi announcing that he and Qian Renxue would stay at Shrek to watch over Rongrong while she studied.

• Qian Renxue told the Suotuo City Spirit Hall branch master she was going to Shrek to look after Ning Rongrong.
