Endless black chains crisscrossed through the void.
They filled his entire field of vision.
At the sight before him, Lin Cheng's heart gave a slight jolt, and an inexplicable oppression settled over him.
By rights, a continent's origin should have been something pure, vast, even sacred and unfathomable. Why was this place completely different? The black chains before him radiated an aura of chill and madness.
These chains seemed to have been tainted by some kind of power.

"A heart?"
Lin Cheng was utterly incredulous. "Something like this actually exists deep within the Vast Azure Continent... What is this heart? Whose heart is it? How did it end up here, bound by these chains?"
For a moment, his mind could barely process it all.
From the heart, Lin Cheng sensed a terrifying threat that made his scalp go numb.
It was merely a heart, yet it made him feel as though he were facing a deity steeped in evil.
His brow furrowed slightly.
Lin Cheng instinctively took several steps back. "This place is too strange. I'd better leave first."
The continent's origin he had been thinking of day and night, so curious about, had turned out to be such an eerie heart.
Anyone would have found it absurd.
Who could have imagined
